Thanks solardave. I had not seen the Telegraph article before, which does indicate light at the end of the green and red tunnel. After several years of wondering I finally bought in 17 months ago at 70p just before disaster struck. Took up the recent offer plus some additional to hopefully minimise the loss.

Provided they can repeat the recent profits again in the next six months, it could be sufficient to secure a more realistic loan and pay off the exorbitant loan they currently have from d-bay.

Good to see a positive move in the share price today, but unlikely to recover to its former glory.

A quick question:

ESL have raised £16m; £9m plus an over subscribed £7m fundraise

This article from 12/10/20 in the telegraph states:
"The owner of trucking business Eddie Stobart has returned to profitability and put an accounting scandal that rocked the business behind it, the company said."

So why is the MCap at £30m?

It seems a downward trend? With the changes happening and new investors in with new twist to a investment fund for logistics should be up. With so many online trading all the logistics firms are busy. Alone with the warehouse places can't get enough space with Amazon looking to rent up to 30-40 new locations over the coming year should be all booming!

Shouldn't this have been sent out before 9 December, having told us on 24 Nov. that "should the proposed conversion not be announced before 9 Dec. 2020, it is expected that the Company's ordinary shares will be suspended from trading on AIM from that date"? I waited for an announcement till almost the last minute on Dec. 8 and then sold at 7.7p, creating a huge loss, thinking that this would be my last chance of salvaging anything at all. I see from the announcement that the record date is Dec. 7 so in theory I could presumably still take up the offer entitlement and subscribe for more shares though I am unlikely to be informed of this by my ISA platform since I no longer hold any shares. Crazy! I think there are safer places to invest any more money, having lost almost all of my original investment. I don't think shareholders' interests are paramount with this company.

I don't think dealings on AIM have been suspended, have they? There is still trading but maybe this is off market.

In the mean time I take it that you are allowed to sell your ESL shares after accepting the offer?

I might just do that if I can break even.

to dkit666 I have shares in an ISA with ii. I found info in corporate actions in my account and followed the simple instructions. The offer is 37 new shares for every 100 held @ 5p .you do not have to take up any or all of your allocation. you can also apply for extra if available. the offer lapses 21st Dec. hope this helps

I did too, at 9.5p. I hesitated to sell at 9.62p. Was too late to the party in the morning.

I saw it at 6p but was too busy selling a dog.

22. Can someone point to where the 'placing price' is stated- as the RNS IMV seems very vague in this regard????
Thanks in advance,

Placing price of 5p, is that right?

It wouldn't surprise me if they had deliberately manipulated the price down so most would sell out in a panic and they could pick up the shares on the cheap and then tomorrow they announce that an investment company had been set up and new shares will be issued to the remainers at a much higher value than today's closing price.
Anyway, I'd had enough and decided to sell at shortly before close today, getting the lowest price of the day I think and creating a huge loss. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I need a large drink!

Best of luck to those who still hold.
