ty, gn, and point taken, though I would argue that asserting something like 'the con is unravelling' based on no evidence whatsoever other than the company engaging in a perfectly normal - if unfortunate and relatively rare - activity like this, is far more damaging rhetoric than the way I took this guy out to the woodshed. He knows full well how serious a statement that is to make in the first place, but to do so without a shred of evidence and then compound it 5-fold by accusing ME of not knowing what I'm talking about, well, I think anyone could be excused for getting a bit snarly under those circumstances.....

And a final note, meant for the moment for anyone other than effortless since he's going to be spending the next few days trying to figure out a way to respond without having to take the short-term pain and just admit he made a fool of himself: In no way am I suggesting suspending an executive board member is a 'good' thing (although it is a possibility of course. The other board's resident troll - obviously no fan of the company - claims he KNOWS Redfern to be a waste of space), however, in addition to the relative ubiquity of suspending an executive for personal misconduct, especially if this ends in dismissal, ECOB will also be far from the first company in history to try and keep previous management on board and involved after buying their assets, but find it impossible, and then have to part company for one reason or another. When effortless pulls himself together, maybe he can explain to me how that outcome is also somehow unique to ECOB and therefore a harbinger of doom.

I don't think you understand what I meant nor therefore what you're talking about, effortless. Employees violate the terms of their employment contracts on the basis of bringing the company into disrepute, violating the laws of the country they reside in for various PERSONAL REASONS unrelated to the company, etc., and therefore get suspended-fired, ALL THE TIME. I reckon that's very likely the situation behind this as anything impacting the Company economically and ECOB would have been compelled to divulge it already. What in the f are you even talking about?

Effortless, I agree, it is hard to imagine it is anything other than disastrous. On the other hand, if it be indeed something disastrous, I would expect the shares to be suspended pending clarification.

I've been reassured on this, Effortless. Firstly, ECOB own everything now and have a team in Albania and London who are expert in the technology, so Redfern's only real usefulness from the beginning was helping get the factory shipped from Dubai to Duress, which is long-since successfully completed of course. Since then, he has had no relevant role as far as I could see, so I was hopeful that he would be downgraded soon to non-exec (cheaper!) anyway. For me, this looks much more likely to be related to personal issues than anything business-focused and as a result, I'm fairly relaxed

Who (or what) is Barry?

I have a miniscule holding here, the result of a disappointing dabble with Fox which I finally ditched in 2019, but could not get rid of all my shares. They sounded such a good prospect, Albania wanted the work, and the world wants the marble, but (my guess) Albania had too many crooks in high places who were in fact the foxes and Fox the chickens. I like the sound of Eco Buildings, but fear that the company is still unlikely to avoid being screwed in Albania, and the fact they are suing the pants of Albania won't improve their chances of commercial success.

I find it disturbing that there is no news of an AGM. I doubt I'll add to my 295 shares.

From the 18 August RNS:

"Due to the late commencement of the process, completion of the audit is expected in mid-September, assuming no unforeseen issues arise".

Since we are now in mid-October with no sign of audited accounts, one can only assume that "unforeseen issues" have indeed arisen.

Absolutely disgraceful that the Board have not issued any further update since 18 August.

Most auditors I know are taking at least 3 years to complete audit. It is soooo difficult to sack them too. Sigh.

Very frustratingRead on another board that something is expected in SeptemberMeanwhile there has been no work or progress on the factory....makes me concerned that there will be no way to deliver on the supposed order book....and the risk of needing another capital raise at some point in the first half of 24This is all hear-say....happy to be corrected on any of these points by anyone with better intel
