Posted at 17/5/2025 07:59 by purchaseatthetop With Bobdown he filters anybody who suggests that there may be a need for more cash and hence there will be a fall of share price. Happened with ZED aswell. Then after the discounted cash raise he filters anew. So his normal nonsense posting can continue un disrupted with realism. Hey ho. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 16:35 by kemche I have spoken to various HNW aggregators and their response has been overwhelmingly positive. Such was the support from them that their allocations had to be scaled back. It would not surprise me in the least if all of today's trades went to satisfy that pent up demand which in turn bodes well for the future share price Most of the enthusiasm stemmed from the transformational deal signed with Gramma Constructora SRL for USD237m of gross revenue to ECOB and confirmed by them. The anticipation by the HNW individuals is for a $1 billion deal in Vanuatu followed by Diego Garcia. Keep an eye on the volumes as all is absorbed by MMs working a big background buy order. Most of it is smart money by my reckoning - possibly John's Story and Swanny. Today's raise is the second helping of transformational before the next one. GLA LTHers! |
Posted at 15/5/2025 14:47 by dudishes SP, Nifty50 headline "Pump and Dump"! But still a buy recommend? New one on me.Forecest history rather poor to say the least:- SP recom 20 Oct 23 @ 20p 21 Aug 24 @10p Fund raise. 4 Mar 25 @5.5p - Show home in Chile????? 9 Apr 25 @3.6p - Improved facilities Albania. 29APR 25 @ 5.5p - Local partner Senagal. 15MAY - Fund raise, you know the price. The share price headline was "Pump and Dump"! And despite Tom talking to the CEO it is clear that he has no clue. One could have told Nifty50 that at 20p never mind 4! |
Posted at 15/5/2025 14:09 by echoridge Again, not a cause for a parade, but another promising tidbit: basically all of the 1m+ shares that have traded thus far have done so at or near the offer side; in other words, there hasn't been any sign so far of the kind of 'get me out selling' that - especially in this still very stressed AIM market - so often follows a deeply-discounted placement, and forces the market price quickly below the placement price. In fact, the trading so far today in ECOB has been happily in direct contrast to that norm, and more importantly, augers reasonably well for the aftermarket trade over the next weeks, and as was written above, the hope that the share price can regain a decent chunk of the ground lost today. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 12:32 by echoridge From the other board:The price sucks, no doubt, but fwiw, the deal, as per the RNS, did go in chunks to very solid hands and then of course, mercifully nothing to retail spiv brokers who would inevitably f-up trading for weeks to come. Instead, I have spoken to a couple of those solid hands and their participation reinforces the message in the RNS; namely that the vast majority of these funds are going into capital spending in Albania and to further the process of funding beachheads in Chile, Senegal (kind of small 'b' bridge financing) and possibly elsewhere. Finally, while its absolutely on the Company for many of the legacy issues that have put the share price in the single digits in the first place, 4p is basically the price we started at before the recent rally on the back of the Senegal update RNS, which by the way, those same solid hands confirmed was useful in convincing them that the partner in Senegal is a serious one and thus to participate in this raise. In summary then, this is substantial enough of a raise to make a difference in advancing the production cause, but not so much to be too dilutive, done at a miserable price, but with enough solid support from wealthy holders/family offices to at least reassure current shareholders that the market in the shares going forward will not be adversely impacted by attempted flipping and then, for me anyway, provide reasonable hope that in fact, the interest generated by this raise may help us recapture a material (up to half or more?) portion of our losses over the near-term as we await more substantial updates from the coal face. Oh, and a final, small 'positive' to note: unlike what we might have expected, the small call option sweetener in the deal was not struck at the 4p placement price, but at over 3x that level, at 13p, a tiny imbedded vote of confidence from the investor group to my mind at least. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 12:14 by bobdown2 Gnnmartin. Ditto. And last week i sold ecob before the 2.5p rise and bought zed. I bought ecob today. Im a small investor but more experienced now.Ecob..already have large ordees for albania and kosova.. chile could beckon. And today they raised money to increase revenue. Todays trading suggests that the funding is well organised. I expect my turn of luck to continue. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 11:57 by gnnmartin I've doubled my (modest) holding. Today's price reaction was illogical. The company either raised money at 4p because it is desperate, or because it is confident that the extra money will enable it to grow sufficiently faster to more than compensate for the apparent give-away.The most pessimistic interpretation is that the company has sold just under 20% of the company for 4p a share, so if you think the company has made a neutral move, that the extra money was not desperately needed but won't significantly speed development, then the price should not have fallen below 6p. I've held a few shares in ECOB from back when they were Fox Marble, and watched them since. I've bought a chunk at around 4.5p. Could be I'll lose the lot (I rarely sell), hopefully I've bought a bargain. |
Posted at 15/5/2025 09:37 by bobdown2 A.Z has created ecozenova. Ecob and zed. They now appear to be putting a distributor / partnership in place. Solhabit in chile and zibwi in spain. Zibwi made their first order of cosequence recently. Around 25kIs there now 2 seperate parts of zenova with control over their distribution. I think so. Nothing showing for ecob v zenova yet. But plenty on the ecozenova web site. And in todays ecob rns.. Mention of albania again. Interesting |
Posted at 24/4/2025 08:52 by bobdown2 Not much information showing on ecob. But a visit to some ecob websites show a growing list of windows and internal fixtures and fittings. There is also a very large wall !! That needs completing. Ecob could mive up shortly. |
Posted at 01/10/2024 16:37 by kemche I'll concede that nothing short of line-of-sight of first revenues linked to deliveries into the 2 big contracts in Albania and Kosovo and/or signing another big deal in another jurisdiction that the company keeps alluding to, is going to get the share price popping, but today's RNS can be read as a hint of more positive developments to come (soon). Albani has obviously been the key figure in securing and maintaining the company's key advantage (despite the share price performance) over its competitors: the massive dual contracts in the region and is likely close to signing more business, as this RNS implies. Agreeing to essentially come out of the background and take such a prominent executive role at the company - for me - indicates they're ready to move forward in a way we all want to see: delivery of product, first revenues, and then growing the business elsewhere through JVs and partnerships. And perhaps I am too ambitious in my reading of the RNS, but I am cautiously encouraged by quotes like, "As the Company's largest shareholder, I want to assure our long-supporting as well as potential investors, that my efforts will be keenly focused on creating shareholder value and improving the performance of our shares. Your trust and investment in our company are paramount and I am committed to working diligently towards our collective success." At least it comes close to a mea culpa for the appalling share price performance-to-date and a promise to do better going forward. Let's see..... |
