Down 65% on 740k trades, someone selling in 10k tranches.

IMO, ECO is susceptible to leaks. Large trades appeared the other day and I’m guessing a lot of Israeli heavy hitters follow this stock.

Having said that, it is quite clear that ECO holds some great assets and sooner or later will be trading in 3 figures again.

Any of the 4 wells could be transformative for the share price so I’m continuing to hold and remain very positive on this stock.

3% drop.... Hardly a leak.

30% maybe.

Lots of oil and gas shares are down over 5% this morning.

Hmm. Surely too soon for a leak?

Yep...... I can handle bad news.

If Gazania-1 fails, I am happy to keep holding to wait for 3B/4B news, then 4 massive wells in 2023....... 2 off Guyana and 2 off 3B/4B.

Holding a paper loss is no pain at all.

But if Gazania-1 comes in good - then its champagne time for me.

As with all high risk high reward plays........if you have the balls, play the game, if not.....then run away and put your money into Premium Bonds.

It's ok Billy Big Baws is "long and strong"I'm out as previously posted. Good luck if you are holding for results. And if you have taken a profit enjoy.Placees have been churning to make room for the warrant churn. Broker accounts pumping, their clients dumping.Profits profit. Don't be left holding the pumpers bag.

TSX not fairing any better than AIM. I guess many those investors who were in just for the pre-results profit are disillusioned and are cashing out.

Qatar wants to speed up their Namibian interests. Good!I'd somehow missed that they were big in both Graff and Venus.https://energy.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/oil-and-gas/qatar-aims-to-accelerate-development-of-namibia-oil-discoveries-energy-minister/94772906

Both Keith Hill and Gil Holzman are slated to speak at next week's Africa Energy Week. There seem to be a lot of good calibre attendees individually and company-wise for this second trade bash. I hope its productive for ECO. I also hope Keith Hill thinks more before he speaks off the cuff. BP are attending despite having no live hydrocarbon interest in the area. Maybe that's gonna change, although they'll most likely be beating the green drum.

I bet Gil can't believe the share price at this time given his own forecasts for spud - even his recently lowered effort. There's certainly low market interest in what happens.

Don't think that will happen..... As far as news flow goes the 3B/4B farm out news is better after Gazania... Either icing on the cake or some good news to get share price rebounding upwards.

Got to say I'd be over t' moon if 3/4B was farmed out to a biggy pre Gazania results. Gil said the process was nearly completed when he ranted about my comments, so each day increases my mild nervousness.

The US refineries are not set up to refine light shale oil, because they have traditionally shipped heavy Venezuelan/Trinidad/Curacao crude to their Gulf Coast refineries.

Venezuelan crude needs to be diluted with lighter fractions (naphtha) to get it through pumps onto tankers.

Increasingly the value in oil will be the 'crack' - i.e. the petrochemical products refining, and not gasoline. We need the heavier stuff to make everything.

The really light stuff (gas) is desperately needed for for the fertiliser (Haber-Bosch) plants.

Guyana is the the world's only hope of not going over the energy cliff. If South Africa comes off, then that also makes Sealion a more interesting prospect if there's a shipping destination for FI crude to the right instead of South America to the left. However, South Africa would have to have the where withal to attract downstream investment to extract more value from the chain.

I don't see oil crashing in 2023. The supply is too inelastic and demand distraction of that kind of degree is unlikely, especially as it will mean a massive increase in world poverty. Its ALL about energy in the end.

I hope your right my days of heavy oil investing are behind me particularly if oil collapses in 2023 however I agree there will be a mini boom in oil before the crash akin to 2008

I have a VERY keen interest in ECO actually. Excellent opportunity going forward, especially with heavy (sour) crude being the most in demand from the US SPR releases right now.

The presence of a certain pump and dumper on certain boards is the only thing about it which smells worse than the sulphur in the oil.
