At a guess the Namaqualand charge from a different kitchen....witg Gazania being the most optimal. Gazania is good then chances for Namaqualand increase.

The technical presentation succinctly demonstrated the wider implications for the other targets in the block. Them being significantly derisked would be the icing on the cake if the drill comes up trumps.

They've obviously the experts and have optimised the drill point to gain max Intel, but in simple terms there looks to be an option to drill further up the slope and sidetrack to Gazania. Most importantly they believe its the best single spot to put a sale ticket on the results!

Thats where its interesting because the side track into Pelargonium, if it goes ahead, will also be an updip appraisal of any discovery of hydrocarbons in the downdip Namaqualand formation.

If you look at the map..........the well is not located well for Namaqualand, as its downdip of the main body.......so looking just for confirmation of some hydrocarbons in there to go chasing it up dip. If Namaqualand has net pay oil, then its going to be big and full........ one to watch for as a good discovery downdip should mean the structure is loaded with all and its big structure.

The main target is as per the well name......Gazania, and so the well is ideally located for Gazania while just testing the downdip location of Namaqualand.

Yep have to agree BB, if oil is hit this wont be 10x's..but from my Geologist experience, on discovery this will be a lot bigger then 300m barrels
Another Sealion in my view, but in a different financial climate

Worth watching this video.....the Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber says ECO are being super conservative, he reckons Gazania-1 is not going for 300m barrels recoverble, he says 900 million to 1.4 billion. 500 million recoverable easy in the success case ?!?!?!?!

So was everyone else on a £35m cap not £125m cap ! We all made fortunes on RKH and if recall shell flowed oil on the edge of sea lion nowt to do with a Chinese poster stated Hong Kong probably funded by the communist party to pump and dump and cause clone frauds. I bet pro won’t remind you of keystone collapse etc etc and on every exploration well or the fact he spent the last couple of years deramping eco on advfn before ramp mode so all the spouts today was the exact opposite of eco in 2019 and 2000.

More to the point I am long eco however I have a hedge whatever happens I win and was at least decent enough to post my thoughts and warn you posters on what is and stated an exploration well on rns which is near a small non commercial discovery in isolation that flowed oil in 1988. There are risks and reward to gain 100% if there is an oil discovery and flows oil not ten times like RKH.
