I love companies where the Lundins are involved; the deals they strike are tremendous, just look what they announced with their copper project in Argentina with BHP.

Wherever there fingers go, I follow and ECO is part of that family.

Love the fact that any cash raise will be minimal now, if any at all.

bloody brilliant, what a smart bit of business. Gets us increased exposure to multiple wells drilled by Exxon in 2023 and a massive lump of cash to deploy drilling Gazzania...no placing till post Gazzania

Other company with a meaningful year is PTAL. Subject to local issues, but once resolved; it will be a hell of a ride with production due to double and unhedged. talks of dividends and share buybacks. Please DYOR

CGX Energy and Africa Oil Corp; they're more mid-caps but the wells are very significant for both. AOC has more than one this year.

Monk - I follow many rigs for the different companies I am invested in.

My main one is the NH9 for thedrilling of Jade for Empyrean Energy [EME], you may want to have a look. Only weeks away and another major drill in 2022 for the oil world. £50M mrkt cap. Interesting risk:reward

Paraphrasing, Gil commented a while back that there were lots of keen potential investors who may invest in Block 2B at the asset or SPV level, so drilling would not necessarily be dilutive at the corporate level for ECO. The two major discoveries at Venus and Graff will have strengthened that case significantly. Even if there is a placing it will not be to flippers unlike with other stocks, but to those with sticky hands, likely going to Africa Oil (Lundin Group), Charlestown Energy and Seacrest (AZINAM). They are buying shares to own the business. Africa oil has repeatedly taken stock at near to or at a premium to the market price, even at a 30% premium on one occasion.
