09/4/2020 07:50 | Eckoh PLC (LON:ECK) has reported "another record year" for its business with double digit revenue growth across the group. In an update for the year ended 31 March, the secure payments specialist said trading for the period had been "in line with market expectations" with revenue growth across both its UK and US businesses.WATCH: Eckoh PLC doubles its US revenues with 'more to come', says CEO PhilpotThe group also reported record order levels for the year with 10% growth to £35.9mln.In the US, Eckoh said it had continued to benefit from its position as "the preferred supplier for large enterprises to secure payment data in their contact centre operations", adding that its sale pipeline remained "extremely strong" despite the coronavirus outbreak delaying the conclusion of some "significant deals" beyond 31 March | chester42
30/3/2020 20:29 | I've been thinking exactly the same! Fingers crossed this will now start going upwards! IMO DYOR as always | ![]() devilsprofessor
30/3/2020 19:49 | Kestrel Partners LLP Investment Advisor buying up a big chunk (13%) of shares on the 24th March this year after BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Ltd had also bought up a chunk in Feb. Is there something in the pipeline?????? | chester42
13/3/2020 06:18 | Re historical reporting When you inspect Eckoh's financial statements, there is much given over to the introduction of IFRS 15: Revenue from Contracts with Customers as contract liabilities In Eckoh's own words, the new accountancy rules have the effect of delaying revenue/profit recognition but not cash generation*. The "new" rules, which came into effect on 1st Jan 2018, seem to have muddied the waters in comparing figures over consecutive years. Eckoh's next end of year results (FY19/20 up to 31/03/20) will be published sometime in June 20 and this will provide the first opportunity for a direct comparison, under the new reporting rules, between two consecutive reporting years (18/19 and 19/20). Otherwise, in these straitened times, there seems much to like: 1) easily manageable debt 2) cash in the bank 3) growing revenues in both US and UK 4) little impact on business activity (either by staff movements or services they provide), that I can see anyway, re Coronavirus 5) annual dividend payment *there's a good example given on page 27 of the Interim Results – Year ended 31st March 2019 | ![]() septimus quaid
20/2/2020 15:12 | It may not need an RNS, other than for Holding Crossed, but could explain recent interest. No smoke without fire. | ![]() mazarin
19/2/2020 22:15 | It's just a share trending - got quite a few running like this. RNS is not a requirement | ![]() davr0s
19/2/2020 17:24 | ECK closed another 3.2% up today, so far without RNS to support it, that may suggest something is possibly stirring from ‘over the pond’ I suspect. | ![]() mazarin
17/2/2020 13:29 | I have held this share for a while because I think it will be bought out at some point, and for £1+ ..... £2-3 buyout in the next couple of years will do fine. | ![]() greg the grinch
17/2/2020 13:26 | My guess is they have worked out the value of the IP, on top of the jam today cash and jam tomorrow growth prospects | ![]() greg the grinch
20/1/2020 12:49 | I'd add 4) every time a company wants to raise funding through a rights issue it gets shorted first. I think we're Ok on that front though. Yes, Nasdaq would be good. | ![]() jim digriz
17/12/2019 18:52 | Lowish volume - was never going to keep going up without some digestion. And they are trade prices not sells. All perfectly normal and to be expected | ![]() davr0s
17/12/2019 16:26 | A lot of sells today. | ![]() petewy
13/12/2019 14:45 | The fact that ECK appears, so far not to have been moved upwards by today's UK election result when other domestic stocks have surged so dramatically, suggests may be that its performance is now perceived more driven by what's happening across the Atlantic than this side of the 'pond'? | ![]() mazarin
26/11/2019 13:59 | Are u still negative Rab | ![]() petewy
26/11/2019 06:17 | Agree with DavR0s, the chart had been forming a long term cup and handle formation which is bullish and it has broken higher with no resistance above now. That said, investors will be buying on fundamentals and in my view, the outlook is very positive, in a niche sector, a largely untapped USA market, regulation driving customers to take action, a very strong balance sheet, patented products, the opportunity for very strong organic growth, highly visible, predictable revenues and good cash generation. As USA customers renew contracts, any new business will start to feed much more quickly to the bottom line profits, thus increasing growth rates. | ![]() nickelmer
25/11/2019 18:55 | It's a technical breakout as there is no overhead supply - there is no necessary need for news to be behind this | ![]() davr0s
25/11/2019 16:42 | Today's trade continued to push to historic highs and touched 58p on the offer with a wide spread during early trading. Something clearly must be driving this upwards movement....and still no official announcement? | ![]() mazarin
22/11/2019 13:13 | The "cup and handle" finally broke and off to new highs with this excellent set of results this week. Management should be feeling pleased and rightly so for having done such a great job in growing this business organically and rewarding patient shareholders. The future looks very bright in a niche sector, with patented technology, growing demand being driven by increasing regulation to control data and card fraud, the USA market size is many times larger than that of the UK and so one would hope to see this rapid growth continue. Really really good to see | ![]() nickelmer

22/11/2019 10:50 | Just a share breaking to an 18year high - I added (as I know others did earlier) today for that very reason. Maybe news ahead but more likely there is no overhead supply leading to the move | ![]() davr0s
22/11/2019 10:16 | Some big buys this morning. IC buy today: | ![]() petewy
22/11/2019 09:16 | Judging by this morning’s activity first thing, I suspect someone has got wind of some positive news. It’s not uncommon for ECK to give Contract announcements towards the end of trading week. Time will tell. | ![]() mazarin
19/11/2019 16:54 | H1 results look fine but there is no exuberance in the H2 outlook, just expected to be "in line" for the year. I hope this is management caution in uncertain times. However, better to underpromise and leave room for a marginal outperform statement in due course. | ![]() boadicea
12/11/2019 12:52 | As a long time holder it is disappointing to see a poor USA performance. Possible change of personnel there is required. The technology seems to have a major selling advantage but is not resulting in a major upward path. Maybe time to depart. | rabbrooks |
