Shell 2016 Shell announces million dollar investments in Bolivia's hydrocarbon sector Anglo-Dutch company Shell committed to investing millions in hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation in Huacareta and Caipipendi, in Southern Bolivia, informed Bolivia's minister of hydrocarbon and energy Luis Sanchez. According to the Bolivian minister, the main purpose of Shell's visit to Bolivia is to ratify its permanence to continue exploration at the Huacareta area, where it is already making seismic surveys. The minister told the press that De la Rey Venter, Shell executive vice president, announced these investments through BG Bolivia, although he did not offer figures. Additionally, the oil company spoke about focusing on the immediate execution of exploration operations at the Caipendi area. Hydrocarbon authorities reunited with De la Rey Venter and Eugene Okpere, Shell exploration vice president, among other executives. Sanchez remarked that "large resources and legal security in Bolivia make companies like Shell interested in working in this region." The official guaranteed legal security for foreign investments, "Shell's presence and return to Bolivia justifies it." "Shell is in Bolivia to stay for over 100 years," assured the minister. Shell executives officially presented their commitment in exploration in the country to find new reserves and producing volume immediately, according to Xinhua.

Interesting. There have only been 15 posts to this board in the last four weeks. I saw almost the same scenario with JAY, SAVP, SGC and SDX. The situation ECHO is now in looks promising. Tomorrow will tell.
