21/6/2022 16:30 | Sp now getting very close to the recent offer price. Glad I didn't bother to subscribe. Duke has become purely an income stock these days. I hope they can maintain this level of payout for the medium term at least. But it would be good to see the share price recover some of the recent lost ground. | bend1pa
21/6/2022 07:25 | The Board has approved an interim dividend of 0.70 pence (sterling) per share in respect of the first quarter of Duke's financial year. The ex-dividend date is 30 June 2022, the record date is 1 July 2022 and the payment date is 12 July 2022. | bountyhunter
13/6/2022 11:33 | Yes a divi coming up with the current yield at 7.8%, I agree - good value at the current price. | bountyhunter
12/6/2022 09:23 | Next week or so we should receive the quarterly dividend declaration. I have been spending quite a lot of time modelling Duke and it is a great income stock but also compounding heaven. At current levels dividends reinvested will comfortably see share holding double within 10 years. Then we have what happens with the capital side. It is completely ignored but some where along the line if royalty partners exit we gain a 20% Royalty fee and also on alot of our investments we hold an equity stake. Running models around this could also see capital value double within 10 years if exits are every 5 years. Not saying it will be every 5 years but this is hugely powerful and not currently factotored in. I think it was noted that Duke have circa £36m of potential exit fees hidden within this gem of an investment. AIMHO GLA BTG | btgman
04/6/2022 07:40 | yep already filtered here too. DUKE good value at these levels | melody9999
03/6/2022 13:27 | I have filtered him and also found a similar tale on another thread but with a different handle | piedro
03/6/2022 11:20 | Really don't think so ZionMark, but thanks for your input. | bothdavis
03/6/2022 07:23 | I also think it's worthwhile considering what is not in the NAV; The buyout premiums on existing investments, which typically sit at 20% of the total investment size. The company estimates these to be c£36m. The equity holdings where Duke has taken a stake in a portfolio company. The equity stakes are of particular value in buy and build companies where the eventual onward sale of the company is a stated objective. Duke can typically help the company scale up from £2-3m EBITDA to £8-10m EBITDA, at which point they can demand higher multiples upon exit. Furthermore it is not unreasonable to assume upward revaluations in the carrying values of the portfolio companies post Covid. Additionally it is likely that several of the portfolio company collars will incur the +6% limit on annual review going forward. Having said all that I would prefer to see 2022/23 result in new companies entering the portfolio, the sale of one or two existing companies and an absolute maximum limit of 30% equity shareholding going forward as I think that disincentives founders/managers somewhat and exposes DUKE shareholders to too much risk. Bottom line is that I believe buying Duke at current prices offers excellent scope for share price growth over the 2-5 year time frame not least of which is because the company has no practical growth limitations. | carcosa
02/6/2022 14:49 | I bought back in here yesterday at 36p, having sold in December at 46p, fortuitously. It just looks overdone to me post fundraising, given NAV per share of 34p and with the royalty investments made this year. Simon T predicted on 11 April that "positive resets on royalties should drive valuation uplifts". I guess we'll see as it all unfolds, but at 36p the yield could / should be 8.33% which is still less than inflation but not bad! :-) | value hound

31/5/2022 07:49 | Thanks for that Stevesham, as a holder of Jarvis(JIM), the parent outfit, I'm always pleased to hear of happy customers at x-o. If I'm unhappy with any of my current brokers I'll certainly take a look. Cheers | cwa1
30/5/2022 19:19 | Agree with that. | bountyhunter
30/5/2022 19:07 | CWA1 I really like X-O been with them for years and never a problem and always on the ball, not the most communicative but not bothered about that, same speed and efficiency with my Poolbeg allocation too. Plus at £5.95 per trade one of the cheapest, better than my HL broker who if I could be motivated enough would move to X-O but I like separate ones and I never add money to HL, just X-O (oh and Vanguard) | stevesham
30/5/2022 17:29 | Nothing received in my II account.... | jaf111

30/5/2022 10:15 | Anyone had their PB application allotment appear in their respective broker accounts yet? Would expect them today or tomorrow all being well... | cwa1

27/5/2022 12:50 | "The responses given have been addressed to the in individuals concerned." My post 742 was addressed to the writer of 741, it had nothing to do with you, paul (except that he was making a silly comment about you) never mind | zangdook
