Really disappointed to have missed the IC Forum just had something else on. Once the funds are re-invested Duke share price should kick on. I suspect we should be hearing news fairly soon

Mine only arrived in my IG account today as well. Pretty pathetic that it takes 4 days. When I applied for BOTB placing the stock arrived much quicker than this.

Hi Zangdook.

Yes that is correct with the closed placing to the directors and fund managers of their choosing.

You always see the director getting their allocation of shares.

So again Zangdook, do NOT give away your statutory rights.

There was nothing to prevent existing shareholders taking part. Usually fundraisings are done as closed placings and most shareholders have no way to take part.

The shareholders voted to give up their statutory rights.

I can never understand why someone would give up their statutory rights.

All worked a treat for me first time I have used Primary Bid.

Duke looks well set with these additional funds looking forward to seeing the new Royalty partners and increasing dividends.

I understand we should get a trading update this month

I received an e mail on Wednesday morning from primary bid confirming my allocation. The admission date of the shares is 19th April when they will be available to trade in my broker account although I am a LTH.

Have you received the shares?

The web site tells me its still pending.

I have used the Primary Bid 2 times before with no problem.
I got a phone call from them telling me there was a problem with, World Pay.
So I was interest to find out if other subscribers have had the same difficulties.

Plenty of news to come over the next few weeks. Monday - Q1 dividend payout. Friday EGM result. Then following Friday we should get news of where Duke are going to invest their newly raised capital. Lots of excitement to give this a high profile throughout this month. Wouldn't be surprised if ST gives it another write-up in the IC once we learn about new investee companies. Fils

I had no problem and was allocated my full 60,000 share allocation. This fund raise, the disposal of the cruise ships and the existing loan facility will give considerable extra liquidity to invest in new and existing partners that should be immediately cash accretive. This successful placing also sets a great precedent for future placings.

Nice to see the £35m Duke fundraising completed, very much looking forward to seeing this money put to work with new Royalty partners and top up's to existing partners. Looking at the numbers I see this as accretive and should enhance earnings per share and dividends. It looks like they are stacked with opportunities a very interesting time in the cycle for Duke
