Bought a few for more at 193p slightly more expensive for the ISA and took out a small spread bet which is up 20 quid and got a no loss stop already factored in. V rare for me to get things right with my spread bets...

- Drop the dividend
- Cashes the share price
- Use money from dividend to massively buy back depressed shares
- ???

Tried to give you a tick, but ADVFN didn't want to play. Again!!!

I agree, but it is a matter of time before it is reinstated,
The bigger concern will be a decision to rebase at a lower level, given that bank base rates are likely to remain very low for a protracted period.

Joined the party in my Sipp too.
On my watchlist and below £3 is a good entry point. Resilient business in difficult times.
Forward rating is undemanding, and there should be a decent yield, when dividends are restored. Even if they rebase, it should still return a decent yield. That fact may boost the shares further.
Sadly missed 5p in the price by a mere minute. That would have been an even better entry point!

Bought a few more for the SIPP. Not far off the low from earlier this year and the amount of vans out there delivering endless cardboard packages to my family and neighbours make me think they will continue to have demand for their products going forward. Is not anyway almost politically unfashionable at the moment to pay a dividend?

Today's Times states the results are out this Thursday even though the DS Smith website states 2nd July. Perhaps originally scheduled for 11th June then delayed by three weeks due to lockdown.
