I've been here for a long time. It's a well run company imo. Trading update on 7th March and an investor presentation too. Looking fwd to it.

I bought my first 25% here because didn't want to miss out again (missed the first leg up from the 90 level). Mkt looks nervous (so could dip lower short term), but once market stabilises this is heading further up.

Well that was the drop I was waiting for and have now bought in modestly at 1.03. Will watch and hold with interest, and as one of a pair with GAMA, which seems to share similar characteristics.

There are probably watchers waiting for a predictable pull back towards 100p or as nearly as possible. They will likely jump in as soon as it starts to turn back up.
May possibly form a pennant tapering to ~106p over a week or two before progressing to 120p ... and beyond?

If you believe in charts, it will pull back to 100p teporarily and 150p is an obvious target, so plenty left. Breaking out of ranges is supposeded to be quite a significant event. More importantly I think, the overall market mood appears to have got over the intense gloom, so that supports the chart in the real world as do the reduced prospects of a long recession.

Me too. I took an interest after it was tipped but have just watched it, I was planning to get in this week when I received a slug of cash from one of my companies being taken over (rps) but looks like the boat has left.

You're not the only one Brucie! I watched this one for ages and it got away from me (even more annoying as i understand their product very well as the company i work for uses a competitors product very extensively and we rely on it).

If DOTD is to be acquired, price premium should be more than 100% as the company has £50 million cash, recurring revenue of 94% and profit margin of 20%.

This area with its number of small players is ripe for consolidation - acquire or be acquired.
It has an accumulated cash pile making it well able to do the former or would look a juicy target at the right price. I am slightly surprised that this has not already happened, presumably because potential participants are waiting for the recent murky outlook to clear.
I have considered that the depressed price of the past year over-discounted the future difficulties and acted accordingly.
My earlier target was ~120p but may need to re-evaluate as it approaches.
