01/3/2019 10:06 | The jump today suggests people are buying for the dividend: get in quick before it moves even higher. | andrewbaker
28/2/2019 08:26 | The price has slid lower again this week, and it's going ex-d in a couple weeks; so those wanting a dividend stock for income would do well to buy before then. | andrewbaker
26/2/2019 17:02 | Short position of 5.2% on dominoes. hxxps://shorttracker | whatsup32
22/2/2019 13:48 | Andrew, they've been buying them up daily for ages. | philanderer
22/2/2019 13:16 | Has anybody noticed they bought their own shares yesterday for cancellation, so that should put just a little icky bit on the price. So, if you buy now, down a few pence from the cancellation price paid, you could get a little bonus fillip in the price when the cancellation does get noticed. | andrewbaker
15/2/2019 10:42 | Berenberg downgrades to 'sell' from 'hold' .. tp 220p cut from 260p | philanderer
14/2/2019 08:10 | Any franchisee spat doesn't hold much water I'm afraid. No-one forces a franchisee to approach Dominos to open a store; the franchisee should know what costs/risks/rewards are involved, otherwise they wouldn't do it. And if franchisees want a bigger share of profits, they should invest in the company as shareholders. This is the real world. That said, I would have thought DOM might have a discounted scheme for franchisees to buy shares? The share buyback scheme will have beneficial tax implications for the group. Slashing prices/profit won't be beneficial. | farnesbarnes
13/2/2019 22:12 | What next increasing the large pizza from £18.99 to £21.99 because the franchisee wants a bigger cut of the profits? LOL Let's do more share buybacks instead because that helps the customer and franchisee. | smurfy2001
13/2/2019 14:16 | Smurfy. Good idea, why not give out free pizzas. Maybe not soo good if you are a shareholder. This is not a customer feedback site. You need WWW.Dominosdonotgive | ianian4
13/2/2019 00:08 | Stock Watch - Domino's Pizza After it took the cutter to full-year profit forecasts, shares in Domino's Pizza have been about as appetising to investors as leftovers from one of its stuffed crusts. Step forward Peel Hunt, which has retained a 'Buy' recommendation. Currently 247.1p (down 1p, or 0.4 per cent), the broker reckons the stock is worth 325p. Analyst Douglas Jack said: 'The price underestimates long-term expansion potential, and overestimates the short-term downside risk from fewer store openings.' | philanderer
07/2/2019 16:01 | @Farnes The profit is in U.K. spending more money in Europe could be throwing good money after bad. I am suprised also that they are not making Europe work and agree should be there. But sweating the British assets would not be a mistake either | whatsup32
06/2/2019 09:07 | I quite like that the group isn't looking to new franchisees at the moment - conscious that they don't want to potentially cannibalize UK sales. It's all about European growth then. Monthly chart starting to look encouraging too. The tide may be turning. | farnesbarnes
05/2/2019 21:33 | Blimey Don't like the look of this chart just now Another new topping needed but quick To stop the bottom channel getting hit Something fishy with lots of garic In my opinion would do the trick They should be buying back these at 200p Special offer price buy one get one free | buywell3
05/2/2019 20:57 | Hi whatsup , yes very odd. | philanderer
05/2/2019 16:55 | philanderer. In the Domino’s franchises page. Check franchise availability and you will find No new sites. I have a high st. Property and they weren’t interested to buy, let or offer franchise for the site in London. Where do they get franchises don’t want to open new sites from . Doesn’t make sense | whatsup32
05/2/2019 12:28 | Check out Liberum performance. hxxps://www.sharesma A monkey with a stick could make better predictions, maybe that is what they are using. Liberum staff are probably employed to feed the monkey and change its diaper. | ianian4
05/2/2019 12:18 | Sorry, Liberum do have their ear to the ground, have Flybe at hold, target price 33 pence. Just about says all you need to about them. | ianian4
05/2/2019 12:11 | Liberum have been reiterating sell for ages. Shorts have been increasing. Probably in their pockets. They are just a bunch of crooks. If the share price does go down, it will be to their benefit. Also Sunday Times keeps re-pumping story about franchisee dissent, no doubt part of a multi faceted attack to get chance to close shorts at a reasonable price. | ianian4
05/2/2019 11:56 | Liberum 'sell' ....tp 210p cut from 250p | philanderer
04/2/2019 18:54 | There is one way a DOM franchisee could realise a greater share of profit... | farnesbarnes
04/2/2019 18:20 | Market report: Domino's Pizza's share price was sliced after the Sunday Times reported that as many as 90% of the takeaway giant's franchisees are refusing to open new stores unless they are given a greater share of profits | philanderer
04/2/2019 14:31 | I checked franchise availability in U.K. . They are not taking any new applications. U.K. is the main driver of growth so far. With no new franchises , where will future growth come from. There is over 5% short on this stock. | whatsup32 |
