Quality! I guess the recent rise was as a result of insider trading. Has to be imo. But who cares, now the rest of the herd should join in, should break 400p soon imo.

And increasing divis each year, excellent long term hold.

Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc
Trading Update

Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc ('the Company' or 'Domino's') today announces total
like-for-like sales growth of 7.1% for the 52 weeks ended 1 January 2006 (53
weeks 2004: 6.6%). Like-for-like sales for the six weeks to 1 January 2006
increased by 3.6% (2004: 13.2%), capping another year of strong sales growth for
the Company.

In the Christmas period, sales via the Company's e-commerce platforms showed
robust growth of 57.6% demonstrating the continued move towards online and
interactive TV ordering. E-commerce now generates 11.5% of all delivered pizza
sales for Domino's in the UK.

The Company also continued to deliver against its aggressive expansion targets
with the opening of 50 new stores (2004: 40), bringing the year-end store count
to 407.

Stephen Hemsley, Chief Executive, commented, 'Domino's Pizza has produced
another year of strong system sales growth. We were up against very challenging
comparatives over the Christmas period so I was particularly pleased that we
beat them. The opening of 50 new stores in 2005 fully meets our target for the
year and exceeds most commentators' expectations. As a result, I am confident
that your Company will deliver full year results ahead of current market
expectations.'

Preliminary results for the year ended 1 January 2006 will be announced on 27
February 2006.

What were the market expectations. I have consensus forecast at 13.2p which seems a bit low and puts them on a PE of 26 even assuming they beat by 10%?

New TV advertising campaign started yesterday, with 3 pizzas for £15 for a limited period. Should give sales a boost during a usually slow sales month and add some new customers.

World cup should do wonders for pizza orders.

I think the trading statement could be pretty decent. Skyone has been showing triple simpsons, and sometimes, 4 back2back episodes at peak times starting at 6pm last yr and this yr continuing.

With BskyB showing subscriber numbers growing strongly this year, it means more ppl watching the dominos adverts during the simpsons, and using the interactive services to order between 6pm to 8:30pm sometimes.

Also they are on everysingle day of the week!

Seems like a good move.

The share price doesnt seem to be moving on retail buys anymore, as it has gone SETSmm. I dont know why they did that, cos its not an actively traded stock, so to rely on thoe with access to place AT trades to move the price is not fair.

Should have stayed on MM only imo.

Eg 15k and 50k O trade = no move on L2 despite only 1500 on the offer. If that was put through an AT it would have been flying ahead by now.

Theoretically we should see a fresh bacth of buyers in at 373p the dropped down offer, which should then fuel a late trade rally.
