Slightly poor read across from HOME statement today.

Yep, been in and out several but generally holding and trading out on the dips when I can spot them - not that there's been many.

Brokers have been tweaking up forecasts over the past month, which is pretty positive imo.

"quite soon" not convinced.

I remember reading a few years back that soon everybody would be wearing google glass.

Have yet to see a single pair worn.

As always with new things, wifi connected household devices will need to come down to reasonable prices before mass adoption. Maybe in two years they will be generally affordable.

Good electrical sales reported at John Lewis on Black Friday.
They are questioning whether the margins on the heavily discounted stuff are really worth it though.

' Electrical and home technology products were the best sellers for John Lewis on Black Friday and finished with a 6.8% year-on-year rise for the five-week period'.

Dixons Carphone, the tech behemoth, looks set to take the blue-chip crown with a 71 per cent rise over the year. TV sales ahead of the World Cup and a frenzied shopping spree before Christmas helped it to post a 30 per cent rise in interim profits. Another boost to the £5bn group’s share price came in September, a month after the merger of the mobile phone chain and the Currys/PC World owner, when rival Phones 4U called in administrators.
