I'm out and moved to i3e. Better prospects there imo. The doubters called this one correctly.

Over 10% in a SIPP, fixed for next three years with scope to increase with the debt reduction, is rather better than 'average'.

Did anyone expects dividend will be cut 67% today after result ? I bet majority expect a cut maybe half will be detrimental but 67% will be imaginable. DeC Board still think investors are mugs . SELL SND AVOID

LAB305, yep 5 days. Unbelievable

The header needs changing to Diversified Energy Company Plc - Average dividend yield for next 3 years.

anyone has any ‘cow’ sense , can see DEc is a dead duck . Even the tender offer will be abolished the way the share price is going.
Those investors that bought a year ago have saw their investment disappeared 60%
If the share price kept on falling , bank loans and bonds payment would not be in trouble as DEC Debt to capitalisation will increase making it difficult to survive - you are warned. Sad state of affair

Analyse the balance sheet vs 2022.
You will feel better.

How can anybody believe what they say anymore? The pulled tender offer is reminiscent of the on, off , then on again US listing . Ostensibly they are running an extremely financially complex company but cannot get simple things right. Very unprofessional.
I am still incredulous that posters miss the big picture here and doggedly place faith in the company.

Current yield on current share price is no good for long term holders who are already 50+% down in terms of capital. Therefore ongoing yield more like sub 5% for me.
I noticed that Rusty struggled to answer the last question in terms of what has changed to lead to the divi cut. Unsustainable being the obvious answer that Rusty couldn't state.
Feels like I have been spit roasted today.
Hopefully the freed up cash flow / planned buy backs will lead to share price back to £20 but will have to wait and see.

I’ve given up with DEC now. I know the dividend will still be good, which was my main objective, but there is just too much complication and aggravation associated with this company. I can now get nearly the same level of dividend from other more reliable companies.

Listened to the entire call.
Shorts really have no case here, and never did.
Balance sheet shows significant improvement, CEO very bullish about the upcoming Russell 2000 listing and new acquisition.

Rapid debt reduction in the next 3 years, enabled by the reduced dividend, helps provide that certainty and they might even increase the payout within the 3 years.

I get that. However predicting in to 2027 in an unpredictable environment likely to leave egg on faces.Let's face it, they don't seem overly competent with the regulatory issue of their buyback and the dividend cut!

Premium Beeks: DEC's production is largely hedged forward for several years; so its income is fairly predictable on a 3-year horizon.

as one observed - look at the price of their 15 pc replacement purchace and compare it to their total MC + debt

nicely undervalued by a mile

I'm struggling to see how anyone can say they have a 10% div guaranteed for 3 years. With the current world commodity volatility I doubt anyone can see so far ahead, with the additional variables of US elections and company debt.

The market hates uncertainty, now we have a 3 year plan and an accretive acquisition made while gas prices are low. Any increase in the gas price from here should be reflected in the share price given the reduction in uncertainty moving forwards. At a 30% yield the market had priced in a dividend cut, it came a bit sooner than I had anticipated but now it's out of the way and as has been said it remains a market leading yield for new investors.

#Blue mango - disappointing to see such a dividend cut at 1st read through, BUT asset purchases and deleveraging paid for by the cuts make business sense, lessons learnt from the the last round of equity issued..

Let it settle and double down for a larger slice of the new payout policy looks like a reasonable strategy for longer term shareholders..

Yield at current price and exchange rate is 10.31% for anyone buying now, in a SIPP. And not too many other investments available where you can see that kind of income continuing for at least 3 years.

Should limit any further downside. Most of the pain was already priced in.
