15/8/2023 09:07 | The vast majority of the recommendations on Fool come with the caveat that the author would 'probably' buy the share being discussed if he or she had the spare cash to do so !! Why are these people always skint !!! ;o) | jurgenklopp
15/8/2023 08:38 | Another woefully inaccurate article on DEC but slightly favourable ! | lab305

11/8/2023 09:35 | U.S. Energy Information Administration Natural Gas Weekly Update "In the News: Several countries become new liquefied natural gas importers this year We expect global liquefied natural gas (LNG) import capacity (also known as regasification capacity) to expand by 16%, or 22.8 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d), in 2023‒24 compared with 2022 once all regasification terminals currently under construction are completed. In the first seven months of 2023, three countries—Germ Over the past 10 years (2013‒22), global regasification capacity has grown by 49% (45.8 Bcf/d) to reach 140.0 Bcf/d across 48 countries. Investor relations hasn't replied to a simple question and there used to be meetings with investors at Buchanan . No doubt covid will be blamed ! 06/8/2023 08:47 | K S – re post #5223 “ Sure - and they make pick up assets cheaper in a low price environment, but financed by what? More placings? Or is there a budget for organic growth from existing assets?” In response I mentioned the two recent sales of assets as a source of financing new acquisitions. Your next post dismissed the sales as being unsustainable. However, it may be a more significant source of funding for further acquisitions than your hasty dismissal might suggest. In the May 2023 presentation DEC reported ~350 undeveloped locations potentially available for sale; “ Expands Undeveloped Upside Opportunities ~50 undeveloped locations with a PV10 of ~$280MM(c) complementary to ~300 previously acquired locations in region Undeveloped Location Inventory Adds Substantial Upside May be monetized or opportunistically developed Additional ~300 Undeveloped Locations from prior acquisitions provides incremental upside “. They’ve since monetised $56m of assets with the two sales mentioned in post #5224. If they sell all the undeveloped locations, add some cash from recent earnings plus leverage from the accordion loan, they could possibly fund one or more very useful acquisitions. If any new acquisitions happen to have some undeveloped locations, rinse and repeat comes to mind. 17 July 2023 “...net consideration of ~$16 million.... representing a small portion of the Company's undeveloped Central Region acreage ........ The sale proceeds enhance our liquidity as we evaluate other value-accretive opportunities to generate additional free cash flow..” | fordtin

03/8/2023 19:00 | In an interview with UBS's Paul Stefansson in June (but only now published), Adam Rozencwajg picks US natural gas as his top investment. For the technically savvy who can get the video soundtrack to work, the link for it is: | meanreverter
03/8/2023 14:15 | Been having a flick through the presentation. Only thing that concerns is the NYMEX 10yr Strip at $4.66/MMBtu, $4.91.MMBtu thereafter forecast. How realistic is that given where we are today - presumably assumes the LNG export projects are going to push NYMEX pricing up significantly in future? I know we had a crazy high gas price year in 2022, but we're now back at a pretty low price. Hard to predict?! | king suarez
03/8/2023 14:06 | KS - Capital Markets Day Presentations page 92 shows reinvestment at around 20% of cashflow, with dividend at 40% and debt repayment at 35% approximately. The balance goes on ESG/well retirement. Again, these numbers will change regularly with gas prices and interest rates. | aleman
03/8/2023 14:00 | Without more acquisitions they will be debt free in less than 6 years. | lab305
03/8/2023 13:50 | Thanks - that is very interesting/useful, so there is quite a large reduction in outgoing debt repayments in the next 2 years, which would offset the gas price weakness. I only bought a small position here, just below 120p many months ago, so hadn't got around to doing much analysis yet - but was considering topping up this morning - hence my posting and calculations! | king suarez |
