20/6/2017 21:49 | I use stop losses. Usually 10% but a share like this would be 20% as you can get large swings. | thepopeofchillitown
20/6/2017 18:32 | Big7ime my policy depends on how much of my capital I've invested, timeframe, entry points and current trends. It also depends if I'm trading in my SIPP or ISA.I'm also not averse to averaging down (or up) of the reason I invested hasn't changed.I don't set automatic stop losses but draw a line on my charts where I will seriously consider selling. I like to think I have the mentality to do this and not keep hanging on | villarich
20/6/2017 17:23 | You can edit a post hydrus Villarich what sort of stop loss policy do you use? Certain % off top or certain % off your buy price and what timescale if any? I'm interested as I don't use stop losses but prob should, If the story remains the same I.e. No bad news then I sometimes buy more, averaging down. Now a lot on these boards would say that is a bad strategy and they ave up but I see problems there too Any thoughts. | big7ime
20/6/2017 15:10 | *out not it | hydrus
20/6/2017 15:10 | As a number of posters pointed it, whilst being shouted down by mindless cheer leaders, the share was clearly overpriced. It's just correcting to a value the more represents the value of the business and the low revenues and profits. The company itself is doing fine, it's just people shouting about £50m and £100m valuations this year who are the problem. | hydrus
20/6/2017 14:08 | He'll be more concerned with striking the right deal with the right support at the right price with the right distributors covering whatever states they intend to promote the product in. | suneday
20/6/2017 13:38 | I guess Don will be as anxious as anyone else that momentum is lost but obviously cannot pander to stop losses | onedayrodders
20/6/2017 12:57 | Hopefully get some kind of update soon. Agreed nothing has changed from an investment case perspective but I have a strict risk management policy to protect my capital and this share price is now sailing close to the wind | villarich
20/6/2017 12:49 | Any guesses on when news of American distribution deal will be announced? In lieu of any other information, investment case hasn't changed here. | texas_caddy
20/6/2017 12:30 | Getting close to my stop loss here... | villarich
19/6/2017 17:32 | It looks like advfn trade reporting is screwed on DIS and my other stocks, all showing zero or a tiny amount of stock traded, which must be wrong when you look at share price movement. | haggismchaggis
19/6/2017 17:11 | Is the Trades function working for anyone ? I;m just getting a blanks screem | onedayrodders
19/6/2017 15:24 | Andy, probably because everyone else is at work. | haggismchaggis

16/6/2017 12:22 | Very subjective. What we do have is sufficient information on the company to use as a base to understand the financial impact of the information that is provided in the trading updates. With a potential US distribution deal in discussion that is too big a variable to guess where the company will be. What you have to look at is the expectation and opportunities available and add that to the base value case. Base value case is that the company is profitable at current distribution rates. The distribution channels look to be established so limited risk of loosing any of these channels. It is likely the number of distribution and jurisdictions the drinks are sold in will increase. With no debt the company is in great shape. With £900K cash and looses available to be off set against future profits that has to be considered. All in all the company looks in a good position with positive potential. | berny3
16/6/2017 10:45 | Many thanks for your calcs Berny - always interesting. Perhaps, having demonstrated where the company is, you might also like to take a run at where the company might be going in say 6mths and 12 months time. ta, pete | petersinthemarket
16/6/2017 09:05 | Nice to see buyers coming in this morning. | moormoney
15/6/2017 21:48 | RedLeg is currently £15 at Amazon.co.uk and £15 at Tesco. | haggismchaggis
13/6/2017 18:44 | Thanks Berny! We're a long way from valuing RedLeg at anywhere near what Don would accept as an offer for the brand (said he would laugh at £10m for RedLeg). | haggismchaggis |
