Dont be silly haggis. You're embarrassing yourself. You may be incapable of accepting any other point of view that isn't 100% positive of DIS but the rest of us welcome a balanced discussion. Please tell me why it is so wrong of me to state that I think this will drift until news? I may well be wrong, I hope so but why is it wrong for me to post it? Would you have been equally unhappy if I'd suggested we would be 5p by the interim?

I see the Pope is still trying to talk it down, he must be accumulating and wants the price to stay down. Read through his posts, he talks his own book all the time, he's more transparent than a jellyfish.

At last!

Our local Tesco now has two columns of Red Leg Rum bottles side by side on the shelf. Can only be a good sign: hopefully means increasing local demand and sales.

Most following this have probably factored American news at least in. Waiting to see what it is.

Pretty much all sells for the last week. Don't worry haggis. I'm still optimistic for the long term but the longer this goes with no news on the US deal the further it will drift. We saw it happen a couple of months ago, down to the 2.25p until we got an early trading update.

No, not really. I expect it to do whatever the buyers and sellers decide. A lot of people buy ahead of news, not after it arrives.

Amazing selection of premium drinks brands in DIS's stable.
Anyone capable of taking off big time and being world beater.
Too many premium whiskeys on the market.
Perhaps only one thing missing from portfolio is white rum.
Look @ how well fevertree has done out of premium mixers.
DIS has the premium spirits to go with them.

Re: USA distributor, better late than never. Distil's management wants to make sure to get it right from day one. So, patience is a virtue. Have faith guys, have faith.

Last year it was 11 August but we've had an update at the beginning of July so I'd be very surprised if we get another one. I'd expect news on the US deal (if it ever happens) then interims in October.
