17/4/2017 10:47 | Berny, I'm still thinking the trading update will be the last Friday of the month, same as last year. But I won't complain if they put it out earlier. | haggismchaggis
17/4/2017 10:30 | Marty, What I think is great about the number of artisan distillers appearing is that DIS, once they have sold one of the current brands, can buy up several new brands and will have the pick of the crop. | haggismchaggis
17/4/2017 08:46 | MW - very interesting article FT and great photo of Blackwoods. I wonder whether we will get the TU this week. | berny3
17/4/2017 08:41 | haggis - sure you know. TGI has been using Blavod for years. It was during the time with RA that it got listed. | berny3
17/4/2017 05:53 | Creative UK distillers ferment an indie explosion Number of artisan spirits makers in the country up by a sixth last year Good for distil shareholders to see Blackwoods vintage dry gin feature in the photo in the article. More of those subliminal adverts the better for shareholders/traders | martywidget
17/4/2017 00:20 | T.G.I. Fridays currently has over 900 restaurants in around 60 countries (excluding the United States). | haggismchaggis
16/4/2017 23:41 | Great find haggis - that's excellent news! | someuwin
16/4/2017 00:19 | RedLeg with Fever Tree tonic tonight, gave my friend a taste of it and she said "that's the most drinkable dark rum I've ever tasted". She often has strawberry daiquiri, she bought a £160 blender just to make those, I said "let's try it in a daiquiri", so we'll be doing that next. | haggismchaggis
15/4/2017 18:07 | 10 best gins, Blackwoods is in there and gets a nudge in the conclusion. DIS is not just RedLeg! "Top of the tree for us is the Tanqueray 10, a sophisticated gin which is hard to beat in a martini. More accessibly priced is Blackwoods gin, which is sophisticated and punchy and nice with tonic." | haggismchaggis
14/4/2017 22:59 | Bought a bottle RedLeg from Tesco today. Was the last one on the shelf. Hope they re-stock soon. | someuwin
14/4/2017 21:13 | Got to try Redleg on ice 50/50 Fentamins cola and Fever Tree Ginger Ale | berny3
13/4/2017 21:09 | Cheers rodders - hopefully they'll post it up soon. | someuwin
13/4/2017 20:58 | someuwin .. they definitely video'd the main interview | onedayrodders
13/4/2017 18:44 | Joined the party today. Only a small investment. Had these on my shortlist since the Daily Mail tip a few months ago and was waiting for the pull back that never came. Seems to have genuine momentum in a rapidly growing market. Rum will probably have had its day in a year or two and everyone will be on the next fashionable drink but if Distil can be in the right place at the right time it could make a fortune. Remember cider's explosion growth a few years ago. Still a very popular drink but not a growing market anymore. | thepopeofchillitown
13/4/2017 17:27 | Here's hoping for more eggcitement next week! :-D | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 17:02 | Happy Easter all - Enjoy sipping your Redleg Rum | berny3
13/4/2017 16:47 | It's not Tom tipping DIS, it's one of the other analysts, Steve Moore, he bought them from his Dragons Den money. | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 16:35 | This is the same Shareprophets run by Tom Winnifroth who was tipping DIS (or BES as it was back then) a good ten years ago when it was 5p. | boffster |
