13/4/2017 12:04 | Well, yes drinking is never going to go out of fashion. But brands do go out of fashion. Distil has one brand which has momentum behind it at the moment but its not guaranteed to continue. At one time it was quite easy to find Blavod in the supermarket. Tesco and Asda both did it. Where is that now? | boffster
13/4/2017 11:40 | Everyone can see this is only going to go higher over time. Drinking's never going to go out of fashion - and theses guys have some top brands. | someuwin
13/4/2017 11:21 | Boffster .. The man supposedly held for years and starts talking his own share down when mkt cap gets to £13m hahahahaha yeah right ... Boffster - 10 Apr 2017 - 12:45:50 - 2514 of 2753 "Many years ago (I know because I've followed this company for over 10 years now) The company now has a market cap of ~£13m. That is on annual revenues of only around £1.5m (maybe a bit more this year) and, as yet, no profit. I'm optimistic on the company's future but I'm feeling that the shareprice may be starting to depart from reality a little." Crikey that's what I call a patient long termer !! You just sold and want to get in cheaper again .. soooo transparent Boffster 13 Apr '17 - 11:13 - 2751 of 2752 0 0 (Filtered) | onedayrodders
13/4/2017 11:13 | Not trying to agitate you haggis. I'll let today's share price action do that for me | boffster
13/4/2017 11:04 | Boffster, no point trying to wind me up, my share certs are in my wall safe and staying there for the big money, people like you coming along giving us your unresearched wisdom in between, that's just noise that goes away after a while. | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 11:01 | Glenn, indeed, some muppets will even take 2% and think they've done well as it's more than they get in the bank :-D | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 10:16 | the update is bound to be good as they've indicated tradindg above plus the surprise wetherspoon deal - danger will be if the 10 percenters have taken positions to sell into the announcement | glennborthwick
13/4/2017 09:53 | Short it then Boffster | thepopeofchillitown
13/4/2017 09:50 | RedLeg is the fastest growing rum brand. Its value alone is worth much more than the current mkt cap. | someuwin
13/4/2017 09:42 | Stinks of desperation to me! Not gotten over your line from the other day telling me that redleg buyers don't know how to work the internet! Shareprice has become disjointed from reality in my opinion. Back down to earth with a bump after next week's figures, is my prediction | boffster
13/4/2017 09:30 | Boffster, RedLeg sales are far from mediocre, or didn't you bother to read the results and trading updates in your rush to try and ridicule proactive shareholders? What we do to try and increase the value of OUR company is up to us. Rearranging a few bottles in the supermarket might get the products noticed more, and more people buying the products. It's a two second task for someone as they are checking stock or buying the product, it's not like anyone is driving to every supermarket just to move bottles around. | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 09:20 | Definitely a share to hold on to. Hoping the price rise wasn't pump and dump but more of people becoming more aware of the company and its potential. Having visions of Red Leg bottles being moved to front of shelves. Someone's started something now. | mam fach
13/4/2017 09:18 | So Redleggers are creeping into supermarkets and re-arranging the shelves to try and boost the mediocre sales, this is turning into comedy gold!! Are you going to be walking around all day wearing a sandwich board next? :o) | boffster
13/4/2017 09:11 | True, but that last move down was on a minuscule 200k, we know the MM's are low on stock and fishing for more and moves like that make it sooooooo obvious! | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 08:59 | Nothing wrong with a bit of profit taking. But with a trading update soon this will be going a lot higher - imo. | someuwin
13/4/2017 08:57 | Maybe! I see a few sells popped up and prevented that tick up. Oh well, no big deal, we're still up 30% on a couple of weeks ago. | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 08:47 | Firework will start next week after Easter holidays. Expecting quiet day today. | acdc52
13/4/2017 08:38 | The bid is creeping up. 2.83, 2.85 then 2.86 for 100k. A tick up soon perhaps. | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 08:01 | Top marks haggis :) | bootie64
13/4/2017 07:59 | That was my idea, glad you've all taken it on board ;-) | haggismchaggis
13/4/2017 07:55 | bootie64 I think someone mentioned we should all do it tongue in cheek but I've been doing it at Waitrose Canary Wharf for the last month ;0) | onedayrodders
13/4/2017 07:31 | Valuations of companies with emerging strong brands often have little / no connection to the financials. Though DIS does not meet the financial criteria for companies that I generally invest in, I have taken a small position....based on the prospects of brand sale and/or market sentiment - the uptrend looks pretty strong to me at the moment.... Redleg has legs to run a while......if you pardon the pun ! Often these uptrends last a lot longer than most rational investors expect....see the likes of G4M,BOO, PRSM. Good luck all :) | multibagger
13/4/2017 07:18 | The shareholders have to be the Army that fights the Red Leg Cause on the streets. It's through us the company will succeed ! | baticle
13/4/2017 07:17 | The next level is to push the other makes to the back. However expect yourself to be kicked out! I remember some staff from a rival supermarket were putting stickers on frozen food, claiming it was cheaper elsewhere. And this was eventually exposed. But, seriously, the big companies like Procter, Unilever send their own staff into Supermarkets to make sure their products are pulled forward to the front, and that the shelves are full. | stampylong trader
13/4/2017 06:59 | Not sure who started this (onedayrodders?) but changing the 2 rows to 3 in supermarkets starts to get addictive. The Red Leg bottle looks far better with 3 at the front of the shelf :) | bootie64 |
