Good summary Dante. Boffshister can waffle on all day every day, but wise investors will DYOR and come to the same conclusions as us, allowing them to dismiss anything Boffshister posts on the BB's.

Last year's turnover is already the past and investors are looking at the current fiscal year's trading. Turnover for year-end March 2017 will be just under 2 million quid and either break even or a small profit. But we're into the next fiscal year now where increasing penetration of RedLeg plus ASDA plus the US breakthrough plus Blackwoods' strong growth plus possibly Jagos' relaunch all mean that turnover will easily breach 3 million this year and may reach closer to 4 million. This year will also see consolidating and growing profitability with NO DEBT at all. So even without a bid for our rum, a valuation of 30 million market capitalization is easily achievable which equates to 6p. These are very achievable figures and leave further upside if a bid comes in for either the rum or the Blackwoods portfolio.

So we're going to have a market cap of at least £50m for company not even turning over £2m? That would be racey even for an exciting tech company. Then we've got haggis who reckons that results 'slightly' ahead of £1.65m T/O means its £2.2m. And they accuse ME of being misleading!

I do feel sorry for any poor sod making investment decisions based on the tosh posted by this lot.

Some stranger character here! He bought/sold Distil, made fortune and yet cursing Distil. Share price goes up/down, never 1D. Distil is one of the few stocks listed on AIM that has positive balance sheet with great potential. It will be trading in double digits this year.

Did buy Fevertree ginger beer out of curiosity. Although it was very nice I did think @ 3x price of well known brand & 8x own label brands whether this was justified.
Whereas price of bottle of Red Leg & Blackwoods is very competitive.

I guess your employer hasn't finished loading up, else you'd be gone from here.

Have a look over at Innovaderma (IDP) Its another interesting growth stock. You might like the looks of it. If not, you can get your own back and de-ramp a stock I do hold! :o)

I keep trying to listen to the CEO presentation all the way through, but DG really needs a charisma injection.

Might try again tonight when I need something to send me to sleep.

If you listened to the new CEO presentation in the herader you'd know where the growth is.

Diagio are in 180 markets.

Pernod are in 70 markets.

Baccardi are 150 markets

...RedLeg is currently in only 6 markets.

i.e massive upside just waiting to be exploited. either for Distil, or for the co that buys RedLeg off them.

its probably on 60 day invoice so I doubt the money would be recognised until this quarter. The trouble with dealing with the big boys is the lag. You have to pipefill in the previous quarter then get paid after. of course hopefilly distil will have cashflow/agreement with the subcontracted factory as well

Who says they'll want to buy it? Blavod took off like a lead balloon across the pond a few years bank. Nearly bankrupted the company.

Someuwin, appreciated, but there will have been an initial order from Wetherspoon which will have gone onto March sales I would assume.

Don't be getting sanctimonious with me just because I've stated a fact, I've put forward some valid points on this board and have been called from a pig to a dog for it.

I've never gone short on this stock (I do not muck about with CFDs or spread betting) so I'm afraid Haggis' fantasy about me losing my shirt is false.

Where is the future growth of RedLeg going to come from, now that its in all the major multiples as of next month, could you not argue the UK market is getting saturated? 25% year-on-year growth I think is unimpressive when you consider it launched in Morrisons and Wetherspoons in that time. I wonder if it will fare any better in ASDA, instead of languishing in the mid-bottom end of the popularity ratings as it is doing in others.

DIS really needs to turn a profit this year, its been jam tomorrow for far too long

Calling folk silly names is a hallmark of an amateur investor. Specially when I've made more cash trading this stock than most of you will ever make on anything. We'll see where this ends up in a few week's time once the sheeple get bored.

Just had to pay 3.25 for 10k here! Could only do at best on Barclays. So you have me to thank for the small bump up in price as was rinsed on the spread :)
