Cheers Bati -

I was in a Tesco Extra somewhere down south, end of the day and they had two rows and only one left in one of the rows and 3 in the other. I would assume they stack the shelves each evening. So assuming that was one day sales. Also got to see Waitrose stock list for Redleg Rum in stores few days back 136 stores listed with Redleg Rum.

Would have wanted to go go to the investor show, maybe next year...checked local Morrisons this evening, had 8 bottles of Red Leg on shelf and 18 on gondola promotion shelf last night.... only 4 bottles left on Gondola shelf, the 8 in spirirs isle had completeley sold out and there was only 4 left from the 18 on the promotion shelf....Their doing OK no doubt it.

Went into a smaller Sainsbury store today. Used it many times in the past and have never seen RedLeg stocked (being a DIS holder, I always check). But Today there it was.

Just another sign of their growing exposure.

Just back from the UK Investor Show and spoke to Dan Goulding

I asked him about launching RedLeg in the US, he said it will be this year but they are considering changing the distributor to maximise the popularity of RedLeg.

The current distributor has done well with Blackwoods but such is the profile of RedLeg now that they want to ensure they sign up with the right distributor.

I asked him if RedLeg has to crack the USA to be a real candidate for a brand buyout, he said it only needs to be a hit in one state for word to get out.

Sales of RedLeg in Australia particularly very good and surprisingly Russia too, global Industry Gin sales are growing at 45% and Blackwoods are exceeding that.

He confirmed Trading update due around Easter.

DISTIL was picked for a £1000 investment during a Dragons Den competition.

I guess the video of his talk will be available soon to replace the one above.

Hope that was useful

ODR

Has anyone here been to a ginfestival.com event? There are events all across the UK.

They list Blackwoods 40% and 60% on their Web shop.

Cheers thepope. You could always buy some now and wait to see it you can add on any pullback?

This has a long way to go as their brands become more and more valuable.

Not a holder but beenwatching for a while. Won't lie to you all. I'd love this to fall back 10-20%. Went to a rum tasting several weeks ago. Rum isn't my drink but enjoyed it. Many of the rum drinkers present were complimentary about Red Leg.

I was recently in Scotland and noticed that RedLeg and Blackwoods are in loads of bars.. the supermarkets also had rows and rows of both drinks and it seemed to be flying off the shelves...Scotland knows a good quality drink when the see one.I think the future is very bright here. I have increased my holding today.
