24/8/2007 21:54 | ...the donkey says...taking profits now and then is wise indeed... | gurunostradamus
21/8/2007 13:40 | Chairman2 Very much influenced, Im afraid, the Rand has weakened gradually over the last few months and DDT has reacted accordingly with an upswing, how long this can go on is anybody's guess. Over to the Technical boffins, to hopefully give us their view on this Donkey.. | spec1
20/8/2007 10:55 | How much is this influenced by the Rand these days? | chairman2
31/7/2007 16:12 | I've just bought back into DDT, at 56.45p. I have been in and out many times, but looking at the incredibly strong one year chart, I wish I had just stayed in it, and saved myself the dealing costs. It is quite rare to see a long term chart so consistent, and the share price has stayed reasonably strong during the recent market melt-down | bastide
27/7/2007 23:15 | ...be very careful...this donkey will test some lows before going up towards 90p...according to my donkey it could even retest 40-45...as the wise have said...it is a dog eat donkey market out there...tread with care... | gurunostradamus
27/7/2007 19:18 | GN, Your dotted reply, is it significant ! 3 dot's I see , trying to decipher this, but will give up I think. What about the DDT Donkey today ? I suppose we can blame the world markets !! | spec1
23/7/2007 18:08 | Guru Nostradamus ( Hervey ) What is the move on our DDT Donkey at close ? funny, thought I would top up last week on DDT , but didn't ! Loosing my touch I'm afraid. Is it a buy or will it fizzle out as usual, What does your crystal ball say ? | spec2
23/7/2007 15:48 | Thinking of going short on this one, chart is at top of channel. | hervey
12/7/2007 21:32 | CNE, DAN, DDT, LAM, RPS, RTN. Chosen by inputting random EPICS and looking for a range of chart action. In other words, it's not a list of recommendations. I'm watching for the long term, not for current potential. | indieman
12/7/2007 17:48 | Indie, Thanks for your views on DDT, Yep we need an extraordinary move with it , to remove the pain of the past, but there again ! strange things happen. I wonder what your spec sharelist looks like ? stevi1111, I'm not sure if that is great news, looks like a bit of political manoeuvring on DDT's part, but it might pay off ! Most of their business profit is in Africa now . | spec2
12/7/2007 12:20 | spec, I'm new to DDT. It's a share I've put onto my new speculative watchlist, which means I'll probably do no more than take the occasional look at it and not consider investing for a couple of years. I've only got about 6 stocks on that list, all new to me. On the current price outlook, it has to progress beyond the old peak to give worthwhile prospects. The volume pattern then and now is different. As the price has risen in the last few months, the volume seems to have reduced rather than increased as I would like. I think this is going to take a fair bit of work to break the previous peak, extraordinary happenings excepted. | indieman
12/7/2007 09:58 | Great news..... SALE OF 60% INTEREST IN BRITEHOUSE move further opens gateway to African expansion In a move to grow its business on the African continent in the public and private sectors, Dimension Data plc today announced it has been granted Competition Commission approval to sell a stake in its Britehouse Group (Britehouse) to a BEE and investment company consortium. | stevi1111
12/7/2007 08:20 | So Indie what you are telling us is, watch this donkey closely ! It seems the chartists don't have a handle on old DDT.L I don't blame them ! Watching it over the years, it has beat me many times and surprised me positively also. Thanks for your technical postings Gentlemen. | spec2
11/7/2007 22:49 | The answer is still no, I'm afraid. A Double Top is the topping out of a major upmove. You don't get Double Tops which are many times (in height) the price increase prior to the formation starting. | indieman
11/7/2007 22:21 | ...according to the donkey...timespan does not have to be within 6 months...try 16 months... | gurunostradamus
10/7/2007 07:01 | Guru, There's nothing on the 6 month chart that could be interpreted as a Double Top in formation. A Double Top occurs as 2 peaks of roughly equal height which are above all recent chart action. The peak to trough is at least 15% of the price and there is plenty of time between peaks. None of these is present. Not even the volume action suggests a DT. | indieman
27/6/2007 11:28 | climbing nicely, hope fully it will stay there. | roks
20/6/2007 20:52 | aah, I'm not alone then? I was a bit dissaponted as I am now back in the red after brief blue couple of days. Hope that 60p comes soon... | roks |
