06/4/2009 13:00 | Tata Comm signs agreement with Dimension Data BS Reporter / Mumbai April 06, 2009, 15:58 IST Tata Communications, a leading provider of the new world of communications, and Dimension Data, the $4.5 billion specialist IT services and solutions provider, have signed an agreement of support the Cisco Systems Telepresence suite of products on a worldwide basis, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Dimensions Data, one of a select few Cisco partners with TelePresence Global Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) status, has the skills to sell, design, install and support Cisco Telepresence in 47 countries. In addition, Dimension Data will be using the Tata Communications global WAN to connect its own internal TelePresence endpoints. In a flexible model for clients, Tata Communications, part of the $62.5 billion Tata Group, and Dimension Data, will together provide the entire suite of services, including bandwidth, Telepresence hardware, support, maintenance and a fully managed service. Both organisations said that the global agreement aligns well with their go-to-market model and provides a "compelling offering" for clients. "One significant benefit is that clients will be able to procure the hardware on either a capex or opex model, explained Dimension Data's Group Executive: Global Solutions, Dimension Data Holdings PLC, Steve Joubert. | v11slr

11/4/2008 08:41 | Well done to Venfin-i bet they wished they topped up at lower levels. This low margin tech stock looks like it will be bombed out for some time inspite of a bit of buying in Cisco yesterday-not a very exciting donkey. | utsushi
04/2/2008 23:11 | This looks interesting now - Venfin shareholding up to over 19%. Venfin have supported through issues and conversions of bonds to shares in the past and now what appears to be a purchase of approx 16M shares. Only reason I can see for the fall in value is recession fears in US. | whonosewhy
