eagle eye is watching hmmmm the people are playing arbitrage at the moment the trades are almost exact in nature and timing between sa and uk...large mop up volume on friday was encouraging, no fall off from results very good, technically holding at this level is great, slow move up being controlled to mop up the last of the stragglers(noeasymoney)....market risk could be a nasdaq pull back...but then ddt has not run accordingly since the nasdaq run but history tells me this doesnt matter in this share.. all in all great progress and consildation just my ramblings

I think a very small divi has something to do with helping the credit rating, the fact they have one is important. The rules may have changed .

LONDON (SHARECAST) - South African IT services group Dimension Data slipped back despite its first ever dividend as problems in Europe, especially its UK call centre business, continued to mount.

Profit before tax in the year to September jumped from $44.8m to $65.9m on revenues up 15% at $3.07bn, as DiData said its operations in Africa, Asia, the United States and Australia all performed well.

Operating profit in Europe, though, crashed from $14.8m to $1.5m with its UK-based Merchants call centres sliding into a loss of $3.4m. Management has been changed but the company is not expecting a quick turnaround.

"We are starting to see early signs of improvement (in Europe) but we need to stay focused on that," chief executive Brett Dawson told reporters.

Earnings per share in the year to end September rose to 2.7c from 1c, with the dividend set at 1c per share.

DJ MARKET TALK: Dimension Data's FY Beat Altium's Estimates
0824 GMT [Dow Jones] Dimension Data's (DDT.JO) preliminary results beat Altium estimates at both the top and bottom line. Cites strong revenue growth together with an increase in gross margin for the outperformance. Sees an encouraging market outlook for network services in general and believes DDT is now back on track. Warns however that the operating margin is still only 2.8%. Notes much of the improvement has been factored into the current price. Maintains hold rating, but expects to move back to a positive stance following the analyst meeting. Shares trade -1.2% at 41p. (KHO)

You have done your homework on this one, looks like it is doing it's predictable Nov/Dec jump up, 60 p would be nice ! doesn't look bad really for them overall, though they should ditch that European unit, or downscale it or what ever, as it never performs as it should .

Result never problem for this company. look at the last three results. all are good.
LONDON (AFX) - Technology services company Dimension Data Holdings PLC
reported a 27 pct rise in half-year profit, as strong sales across most of the
group offset a weak European business.
"We continue to see good demand in the market segments in which the group operates," the company said in a statement.
"Good double digit growth was achieved in four of the five regions in which
the group operates, while Europe continues to perform below our expectations."

Yep chart looks OK and should go up to another level around the 0.50p mark and then onwards. This was a £4.00 share sometime ago and the company has weathered the Tech downturn. There is always something that screws up the predictable, huge sell off etc. Lets hope things carry on in a positive fashion.
MACD going positive always agood sign
