Congrats to anyone who bought in at ~250p. What a rise.

And yes, it totally stinks that the price rose so much in the days *before* the report was released. It should be investigated.

Tongo, unfortunately you can't compare to historical levels as the peaks were based on ever increasing pricing and that is clearly not the case anymore. You can value the company based on its cash generation £40m in 6 months tells its own tale and I can see a return to 1000p

Yes, market gone crazy's but than that's the market, funeral and deaths seems something that's seems to go off the roof, debt shouldn't really matter as long as it's in control and paid in time

It was £28 in the 5 year chart. With CMA out of the way, this should get re rated to 14 times, which equals £12-13. Then as the baby boomers start popping their clogs in the next 5 years back up to £30. And that's before you factor in a 2nd wave.

The Government policies of Quarantining healthy people and social distancing has weakened peoples immune systems. When the normal flu season arrives the 50-70 yr old band will be the next hit. Kids go back just before the season starts. The next wave will show a substantial rise in the mortality rate.

The reason being most were no frills, straight to the crematorium and no lying in the chapel of rests. With this ridiculous situation families have not had any time to grieve, but circumstances made it impractical.

Hi All, New to this one although I did look at it years ago, can someone explain the what the recent news means to them to have made it jump so high and looking at the forum here it could go a lot higher, sorry, like I say I'm not a follower of them so just need to catch up on the story & fundamentals, thanks guys.

bookbroker .. invest in what you see and not what you want (markets are amoral).. there is no way the CMA would floor the industry with a 2nd wave around the corner .. dead bodies piling up at home is not something the CMA would like to be responsible for .. I'm a bit surprised at how DTY and the sector have got away with this but the funeral market did work well in the pandemic and was able to perform burials at much lower cost .. vt

Called price gouging, like some dentists that never closed during C-19, and got permission by straight away employing PPE protocols.

If I didn't have loads, I would have shipped in more .. this is going back to £30 eventually .. no price controls and no new regulator is the best news
