Sooooo we have a cyclical revenue stream that’s declining, no dividend, cash burn and two of the three founders out barely 18-months after listing. What a car crash. I’ve added to the watchlist for when this drops to circa net cash. I just can’t see why you’d want to buy it even after today’s ~40% drop.

...from last year...

Dianomi published its interims for H1 21 this morning. The numbers were pretty impressive, 34% top line revenue growth, adjusted EBITDA up 122%, adjusted EPS up 26%, debt free and a growing cash pile up to £7.9m. The company only listed on AIM in May, but today’s headline maiden numbers look pretty encouraging. Market cap is £115m, revenues are on track to reach the £35-40m range in FY21, implying PS ratio of around 3, roughly mid-range for Professional & Commercial Services.

DNM also announced a new partnership with global news giant CNN this morning, one which “demonstrates the quality and relevance of Dianomi's ad monetisation capabilities.” Winning partnerships with giants of media like CNN can be lucrative and certainly makes DNM look like a company with lots of revenue potential. And DNM has grown revenues, profits and EPS consistently since FY18. Admittedly this isn’t much of a history or track record to look at, but what there is does look quite encouraging. DNM looks an interesting potential BUY, but without much visibility, so its realtively risky.
