08/1/2014 08:09 | wow down nearly 20% this morning which seems a bit overdone. | addison17
08/1/2014 07:38 | It just had to happen... Shanklin - 07 Nov 2013 - 08:56:22 - 2232 of 2465 Well they have left huge scope for a miss at the FY by stating that: "As in recent years, the Group's financial results are weighted to the second half, and in particular the seasonally-strong fourth quarter. As ever the precise timing of Industrial Lighting orders remains difficult to predict, although the Group continues to expect underlying profit before tax from continuing operations to be broadly in line with the prior year." The results RNS can now start with "As we warned in our trading update of 07-Nov-13, Industrial Lighting orders are difficult to predict and the seasonally-strong fourth quarter was not as strong as we had hoped" At some point they will hopefully get back to strong growth. | shanklin
08/1/2014 07:38 | Agree, going to miss on revenue but btm line profit of £14.5M min, is above last guidance I have (xstockopedia) of £12.9M profit | jakedog2
08/1/2014 07:16 | Not a great trading statement this morning, huge increase in sales, but technically a profit warning. Expecting red this morning, but I think long term prospects are still good. Lets see ! | addison17
07/1/2014 18:55 | 3rd biggest shareholder, Montanaro Asset Management Ltd has increased the shareholding from 5.27% to 6% on Jan 3. | bingaxu
06/1/2014 15:51 | Should get T/U this week, not expecting anything fantastic thou. | beeezzz
30/12/2013 14:00 | BlackRock reducing, probably explains some of the recent weakness. | itchycrack
23/12/2013 18:15 | What's a BF trade....Before Xmas!!!!!!! I'm sure my profit is larger than yours, size hey Hmm. Spend it wisely IC, always remember the cup of eternal life in Indiana Jones, different words. Seasons greetings one and all. | beeezzz
23/12/2013 12:59 | going v well today | dewtrader
23/12/2013 12:58 | Well I did take a pretty chunky profit on that dip below 800p first thing this morning (as predicted last week). Still running a short, but a much smaller position now. 800p may offer some short term support from a charting perspective, but buying needs to be much stronger to trun this into a solid support. Will add again on a break below 800p. Have a great Christmas everyone!!! I'm off to do some serious shopping with my banked profits! :-) :-) | itchycrack
23/12/2013 12:43 | Well we all have own views... on this one we'll have to agree to disagree, and you were saying about support Hmm. | beeezzz
23/12/2013 12:43 | Bit of a rise here today. Seller cleared / news ?? | ayl30
20/12/2013 22:58 | With all due respect beeezzz, if you think someone will come along with a bid for DIA then you're living in cloud cuckoo land, it just aint gonna happen believe me for the reasons previously given. A test of the 800p level coming in the next week or so, chart looks dire, no support at all, spikes being sold into. I remain SHORT, but may take some pretty hefty profits around 800p :-) :-) PS: Have a great Christmas!! :-) :-) | itchycrack
20/12/2013 21:18 | Typo...That would be a factor, wonder who has picked them up if at all, not easy to get that much stock in DIA. From my point of view the company becomes a far more attractive take over target the lower the share price goes. | beeezzz
20/12/2013 21:07 | Standard Life may have reduced their weighting now DIA have been booted out of the FTSE350. | typo56
20/12/2013 16:59 | There seems to be a constant seller here. Standard Life announced a reduction today I sold a few months back thankfully and would agree with Jeffian. Flat eps at best does not deserve a growth rating. | davidosh
19/12/2013 12:12 | Last year dia had a trading update on 10 Jan. | tompion
19/12/2013 10:36 | Yes emerging, wonderful clocks and a snip at only 10,000 dia shares. | tompion
19/12/2013 10:24 | No but I would so love a Tompion clock for Christmas, what great clocks | emergingmarket
19/12/2013 10:14 | Anyone know when next trading update is due? | tompion
19/12/2013 09:47 | Can't see it myself. The downtrend looks well established, lower highs, lower lows. I'd like to see a period of consolidation and/or some good news before I'd consider re-investing. But then I could well be wrong and often am. Good luck to you. | v11slr
19/12/2013 09:38 | i like this is just the beginning of the move to £12 imho | dewtrader
