Why is it a mystery? The shares were trading on a very high multiple reflecting the prospect of above-average growth in revenues and profits and DIA then issues a profit warning saying the profits this year would be 'flat'. Even at today's price, they're still valued at around 20x this year's forecast earnings, which is well above market average. Sure, many of us expect the company to return to growth next year but the market might want to see some signs of that first. What's the mystery?

Oh I'm sure they are, they're down just under 10% so far....... :-)
Directors in other companies (e.g. TCY, SFR) have also bought recently, and yet the price has fallen subsequently. People attach way too much credence to Director buys, as they usually fail to take into consideration the global macro economic picture.

Testing my patience this one, but the large amount of Director buys just a few weeks ago, keeps me hanging on in there. I still cant understand the reason for the large drop in the SP, bit of a mystery !

Agreed, approx 700p level is when I'm likely to relinquish my short position, but will wait for consolidation at this level before going long again.

I think if investors do their careful research, they will know this is a share to hold on to. Patience will reward you. Though it's a bit volatile at times, it's still a good share to have. Plus the director buys recently well above the current price. Let's wait and see. Gla!

Just checked NT web page, "my trades" and guess what his nov purchase of 500 @ 902 has disappeared from the screen, read what u want into it. Not a huge punt in reality but for those of you who follow him it's worth a note. Itchy Crack you got it right enjoy the ride, and the Xmas bonus.

noted today this is likely to move out of FTSE250 in tomorrow's reshuffle. Could this be attributing to the fall?

We may now get a retest of the 900p level which I would now expect to become resistance before falling back again.
