BR... I would, you are obviously having a major effect on the SP, not. I see that no other major institutions have increased their shorts, the ? is when will they take their profit, could be soon. You're poxy little short won't affect anything.

Could finish about £10 at end of trade, slowly but surely creeping backup.

Well oversold below 20 RSI chart.

Not sure this statement really was of any benefit to the company, it just outlined what they had said before in the profits warning, so markets already knew it would not be brilliant. In saying that, they are still performing well in the Industrial Lighting business which increased by nearly 60%, most businesses would be pleased by that growth.

Company must be confident of continued growth and meeting demand by opening further manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and a second in Mexico and increasing sales force.

Cash balance has been reduced, however, this is now in infantry and should be cleared by year end so cash will improve quite dramatically.

This comment caught my eye and one the shorters should be very cautious of "As ever the precise timing of Industrial Lighting orders remains difficult to predict." We could get something next week or next month even the company cannot be sure when clients will place orders.

Well at this Mcap a drop from ftse 250 is inevitable, however, the lower the share price goes the more attractive it is to takeover, they have great technology in the LED lighting industry.

I just wonder what the NT will say this was one of his favourite stocks.

As a holder since Roxboro days, I'm a big fan of the company but, having seen other profits disappear in the past, I (unusually!) got it right here and sold at the top (post #2107). I don't buy the bearish comments about DIA's market niche being under attack but the point is that profits overall are going to be flat for a while - with LED growth counteracted by underperformance in other parts of the business - and at 34x earnings (when I sold) you're paying a lot for future profits. If earnings are flat for a year or so until LED growth leads overall earnings up again, then my buying range would be >800p (and even that's a fairly hot 20x current earnings). There's one or two others in my portfolio which are looking like fairly hot valuations, which is fine when they deliver but I've learned the lesson to react to warnings of a slowdown, even if temporary.
