14/9/2012 21:07 | And good to see a new break out on strong volume, these are certainly a buy at this level, and I look forward with interest to increased broker estimates. My initial target is also 500p. ic2... | interceptor2
14/9/2012 09:44 | EPS of 47-50p cash 10m this is still a screaming buy and my biggest holding by far.LOVE THEM....good divi and own freehold property!! my tgt is 5 pounds. | patviera
13/9/2012 20:33 | I was amazed that the A shares hardly increased in price at all today. What do people want these days - a man walking in front of a share with a green flag telling you to buy??! | westcountryboy
13/9/2012 19:06 | Great trading update today These are rather illiquid and the spread can be large at times, but worth comparing what they said in the last Interim report and todays trading statement. Looks like they are trading much stronger than anticipated. DWHT are on a forward per of 9.55 before the broker inceased forecasts. Net cash = £5,0m last full year and net margins were 7%. ic2... | interceptor2
01/12/2011 22:45 | I agree good results and with so much capex being spent this year the future bodes well, relative to the general economic situation. What is odd is the unprecedented gap between the Ords and the A shares: Surely a gap here that is waiting to be closed? | westcountryboy
01/12/2011 22:19 | wow so upbeat...9M CASH AND MAKE 4.5M ..WRONG PX | patviera
01/12/2011 17:14 | yes, unusually upbeat! | insipiens
01/12/2011 07:51 | Final results better than I (and market forecasts) expected and a very positve outlook in the current economy. You have to ignore the goodwill write off though. | 18bt
12/10/2010 08:35 | trading update: "Dewhurst PLC, an independent supplier of quality components to the lift, keypad and rail industries, is pleased to announce the following pre-close trading update for the year ended 30 September 2010. Profit before taxation for the period is expected to be significantly ahead of market expectations. This is primarily due to better than expected sales in Europe and Asia as well as benefiting from positive exchange rate movements of our overseas operations. Dewhurst's preliminary results for the year ended 30 September 2010 are expected to be announced in early December 2010. Richard Dewhurst, Chairman, commented "The international spread of our business has given us resilience this year and allowed the Group to perform better than expected despite the poor economic conditions in the UK." | insipiens
06/8/2010 09:38 | lol - director holds 1000 shares - bsd... | insipiens
09/6/2010 07:28 | Interims out: should lead to slight increase in full year forecasts. This company tells it like it is and is well placed to prosper in a difficult UK environment. Cash generation still good. Cash balances now stand at £8.8m vs a mcap of £18.8m. PE of around 6 or 7 is good value IMHO. | 18bt
12/5/2010 19:00 | you said that last year.... low liquidity 40+k of purchase makes a big move.....not worth writing home about it... | insipiens
12/5/2010 13:27 | Big move on vol ........ no news , will it be tipped in press ? | bench2
06/1/2010 10:49 | No comment on these shares since the finals, which I must admit, I missed and just coaught up on. OTW very encouraging results, quite a bit better than I felt they were forecasting at the interims. The share price has responded since and I am delighted to hold shares in a niche engineering group which is a genuine worlkd leader in its small sphere. It is alos very pleasing that the family continue to be heavily involved and have stukc to their knitting. With £7.5m of cash sitting on the balance sheet, this could be a good time for more small acquisitions. The dilemma for small companies with cash is whether to continue share buybacks and reduce the liquidity still further, but this is a very nice problem to have. Keep up the good work guys! | 18bt
13/8/2009 08:08 | You have got your wish . Suspicious move in the A shares . My guess is someone will tip them in the weekend press. | bench2
21/4/2009 20:43 | Finaly someone realize that this is an undervalued company | cascudi
13/3/2009 07:06 | It's just too small and shares are too illiquid, but it is very well run and keeps churning out profits and reasonable dividend growth. | 18bt
12/3/2009 17:05 | 18bt: what do you thin about this company. and why it seems there is not interesting from investor. may be 3% dividend is not much? | cascudi
10/3/2009 07:18 | The results were issued in December; they've only just put the accounts on the web-site though. | 18bt
09/3/2009 20:58 | I think today results is very good. but not buyer today? any cooments? | cascudi
13/1/2009 21:59 | buyer at 190 in dwht!! a steal this share...rising divis for years..market completely ignoring the cash | patviera
10/1/2009 07:26 | Yes, it's incredibly cheap: I keep this one for the very long term as they keep churning out decent results year in year out. | 18bt
09/1/2009 21:34 | pe of 4? 6 millcash 5 mill prop sounds like pe of 1!!! | patviera |
