03/12/2008 00:28 | yes, still hold. Unusually positive tone in the statement, a departure from previously sombre tone. | insipiens
02/12/2008 08:34 | Yes, very happy to hold. I don't expect any positive price action though! They have actually held up very well this year, and even so are ludicrously cheap. | westcountryboy
02/12/2008 07:15 | Time to reinvigorate this thread after cracking results today. Another small company with £5m of cash on the balance sheet, highly profitable and a market cap of only around £14m. PE of 3.9x on the A shares. Does anyone else hold these? | 18bt
16/12/2007 12:02 | The usual statement - we made more money but the future is gloomy. Been saying that for the last two years. One suspects fiscal ultra-conservatism or..... | insipiens

11/6/2007 14:56 | Put in 1500 "at best". Just gone through @207P. Looks as if it caused the price to drop 1P - sorry about that. It's the first time I recall any deal of mine having an effect on a share price. | dumpling
11/6/2007 14:25 | I've just tried to sell 1500 of these. Max. sale is 150! - bloody ridiculous. | dumpling

07/12/2006 16:24 | What's this share worth then? Are things going to deteriorate further? Has the market overreacted? A lot of embedded value though. Would Mr Dewhurst sell the company if a bidder appeared? I might get down to the next AGM if I am still a holder. | dumpling
15/11/2006 11:57 | pre-result run up. Wonder which way the acquisition will have affected revenues. dumpling - welcome back | insipiens
14/11/2006 16:00 | I've dipped my toe in again - shame about the spread. | dumpling
26/10/2006 14:38 | I sold these for 238P some time ago - one of the rare occasions when my timing was pretty well spot on. I am looking to come back in, being attracted by the NAV of £4 a share and Price/sales of 0.25. I would have thought this might attract a bidder. Any comments welcome - am I overlooking something? | dumpling
08/6/2006 23:52 | Clearly a major piece of news judging by the rapid move in the share price and numerous new postings, lol - an increase in divi and the usual pessimistic comment on the 2nd half. " LONDON (AFX) - Dewhurst PLC, which supplier components to the lifts, keypad and rail industries, has reported higher first half profits but said it will have to work hard to maintain its position in a challenging market. In the 6 months to March 31, Dewhurst made a pretax profit of 1.8 mln stg compared to 1.5 mln in the year earlier period, while sales were broadly flat at 15.0 mln. The group said it will need to make "further improvements" in the second half to maintain its position, citing a difficult market of "declining prices and significant cost pressures." The company has declared an interim dividend of 1.71 pence per share compared with 1.63p last year. newsdesk@afxnews.com | insipiens
