Takeovers have to be accepted; not a chance here unless you suggest a fraudulent transaction by one or more insiders?
In the worst case: Delt has money in the bank to keep ops going for quite a while; Pensacola is abandoned and Selene is exploited as a one trick pony. This is worth a lot more than the current share price, so I cannot see a low ball takeover offer being supported by anybody.
Better to have stakes in both Selene and Pensacola, obviously. We should know soon🙏ㇿ5;

Dr PatienceFinance for DELT to cover their cost, not for Shell. What will be their plans either sale the assets or further farm out or go for production (Equity-Debt financing)

Myna, the likes of Shell has no issues with financing the post drill plan. The issue is when and how we exit/monetise. I expect that to happen after a successful drill.

trop: what is plan B?

If commercial gas is found at Selene all the management need to do is implement Plan B 🙏

DELT have great assets but unfortunately, North Sea is no more investable. Whereas, for Hurricane & IOG, there were some issue with reservoir (water cut etc)My only concern is way forward for Selene? If they hit commercial gas at Selene, how they will finance its future commitment?

Another promising stock market darling.
To a wing and prayer punt.

Not long ago so was Hurricane Energy.
Look what happened to that outfit. 😎

Whatever will be will be

The company won’t worry about inch hi private i’s that’s quite evident from what they have done historically and again straight out of their playbook last week when they decimated shareholder value

They will already have a plan even when they say they haven’t

Makes me laugh when some poster just picks 12p out of thin air when the outfit has clearly stated no placing is likely

Placing is the best option, as long as it is allocated to all shareholders.
We should all email the company investor relations.
If shares are allocated to large shareholders only, then we (small shareholders) will all suffer a nasty, unfair dilution, whether at the current share price or 12p. Must be resisted at all costs. If done unfairly, it's better to just give Pensacola away.

will Deltic be handing back 30% of the rights to the biggest Gas and Oil discovery in the NS for nothing. > NO?
Will Shell as a major JV partner make a small bid for delt maybe
will other players want to buy or jv deltic maybe
share placing at 12p most likely

perhaps A EGM should be called

They won’t give away the whole license is my prediction however they will have to cede more than they had otherwise planned to whichever party blinks last is my best guess??

Richard Sneller and Michael Spencer have likely said no by the looks of things and Oil and gas companies are saying the same
Looks like they are all trying to put pressure on each other and it is who blinks first imo

"No placing possible"

Well how does anybody know until tried? In the worst case it doesn't raise enough. Going to the usual suspects using traditional broker/bookbuild is the wrong approach. Should be offered to all shareholders right now. Whoever takes up their allocation will see an instant re-evaluation of the share price on completion. You don't have to be a financial genius to work that one out!!

In a nutshell

No placing possible

No FO option = stalemate and the clock is ticking to the end of May

It feels like a game of poker and who will blink first
