And up it duly ticksAs I am on a roll, must be time to put a tenner on Sheffield United for the premier league: 2000-1 on Betfair, same odds as Burnley, Brighton & Bournemouth but you can't get a bet on teams beginning with BMrC

No no no - banning really really stupid people who pay zero attention to anybody else is essential and there are none as stupid as ByeByeWellAfter over a year of DEMG banging on about reducing its costs so it will be cash positive, the utter numpty has just completed his analysis showing that DEMG's costs are lowerDEMG is profitable, cash positive and worth at least twice its current market value

Weakening pound should help margins and it hasn't even started to drop properly yet

Nobody seems to be using this thread which is a shame

A point which has NOT been discussed by the rampers is the massive reduction in overheads in the last results

Overheads (excluding exceptional costs2)

Quarter 4 2018 £'000 (822)…… Quarter 4 2017 £'000 (1,711) …… Difference £'000 889

This difference of £.889M resulted by a 50% cut in workforce

This alone skewed the results , which any company can do once

By slashing it's overheads ie workforce

IT CAN NOT BE REPEATED in a tiny company once such a big ie over 50% slash in numbers has been done.

Hence in future Quarter results this Difference or Saving will not be able to be maintained , and Quarter by Quarter the saving number will lessen.

Full year comparisons once the staff cuts are 2 years out will show the true picture IMO

Which IMO will not be pretty

Don't worry about it, this sadly is what I do for a living. Although there's a seller around I still feel this is going to 2p+.

Hi gnnmartin, It's was 1.619 to sell and 1.7 to buy, that's why the Sp dropped from 1.65 - 1.6 Immediately afterwards.

I think that was 500k buy at 1.619, increasing the bid price from 1.5 to 1.6.

BigTYes it will rise steadily with steady progress. However it is starting from too low a base and share price ought to correct rapidly now company is clearly cash generating and not going to have to come back to the market for moreBy correcting, I mean doubling and expect that to happen over a relatively short period. A bit more now and the rest in and around the interim statement when they confirm return to growthMrC

--> Its going to take time to build up credibility. Thats why they need to stay focus on build the business PROFITABLY and generating cash....get the cash balance up over time. Then the share price will rise over time.

Not exactly an explosion Nobbygnome but a 7% rise anyday is welcomed, and possibly 2 in a row, we need some institutional buying.

Talking to myself here but....I think there is a big buyer in the background because the bid level suddenly shot up!

Does this class as an explosion yet🤔....

Currently 1.551 bid for reasonable size and the cheapest offer is 1.695 so looking good for a further rise.

Looking promising with about £10k of buys moving the offer price which shows how sensitive the MMs are here. The spread is killing trade at the moment and I never understand why they do that as surely it is in their interest to encourage turnover.

Won't take much more to get the bid on the move as well though!
