"Alternate machinery including additional shelling machines were ordered in Q4 2023, which have been tested and commissioned".

....took light years to get the shelling machines finally delivered, delay after delay

Now the company says the machines are not doing well & they are looking at "alternate machines" !

You couldn't make it up !
These directors go from one screw up to the next one !
For years.

Happy I got out at ~5p &never got back in at lower prices.

-------

Oh, & has the CEO been found yet or is he still missing for company actions & in RNSs ?!!

Thumbs up for CPO. Finally a realistic target for Cashews instead of the wishful thinking. Back in the sock drawer for now.

Exactly, other cashew maker has been doing it for ages how can the useless people at this company get the machines so wrong! And they even forgot to have it covered in warranty of machine working properly?

Yep Rivaldo, but as you say the figures look good and profitable.

Please Lincoln if you read these boards make 2024 DKL's year we are due one. Afterall these are shelling and peeling operations are not high tech manufacturing, if you can't do it time to leave.

Mechanical and production engineer by profession any jobs going, LoL.

What would really push us on is director buys after the RNS tomorrow (hopefully), cashews will get there but boy have they made hard work of it.

RA.
I am amazed the brokers were willing sell some 6 m shares before lunch without attempting push up the price. I don't believe there was that amount of an overhang either. Maybe Miton or Killik reducing its holding as don't see any of the other l/t holders selling at this juncture. Let us see what tomorrow brings and hope for positive news on the cashews.

Some sign of cashew operations becoming cash positive this will fly. However people do seem to forget the very strong Palm oil revenues which this past few months should have helped the share price obtain a more realistic level to the one we are at.

Chadders let's hope tomorrow helps clear that overhang.

Never seen so much buying and almost zero price action.Must have a large overhang from the constant selling over the past few months. If so hopefully once it clears....

Loads of buying this morning ahead of the production update which I assume will be tomorrow as usual on the 10th, with 2.4m shares traded already and every one of the 20 trades a buy. Which hopefully augurs well.

Chadders this will have a massive boost once cashew operations can be seen to be performing. Hopefully January update will start that upward path.

Cheers mr d. Testing indeed so decided not to vent my spleen for a while. Will be adding more if price stays around this level. Could recover nicely in 2024 methinks.

Hi 2magpies. I don't know why anyone gets worked up about broker price targets - obviously their task is to get people interested, and it's up to investors whether they believe the targets are realistic or not. Ignore them if necessary.

Besides, true company valuations are often way ahead of where the market - which is imperfect - takes them. Just look at the huge takeover premiums achieved recently.

IMO broker notes are extremely useful, primarily for the forecasts, which will usually have been guided by management, and for the narrative, which sometimes includes snippets of info which aren't in RNS's.

I suspect there's a combination of forced small company sellers in current markets and stale holders causing this decline. Can't blame the latter!

Personally I do believe there's potentially large upside here, and hopefully within a matter of months assuming the cashew ramp-up goes more smoothly (which won't be difficult!).
