10/1/2019 10:18 | VSA Capital have retained their Buy and 12p target price. Agreed chadders. The Q4 crop was less than last year, but more than 2016, and since a good year normally follows a bad year in theory this should be a good one. The CPO price is now up to almost $529. The tone of today's RNS is confident, and cashew nut production isn't too far away, which hopefully the share price will begin to look forward to in a few months' time with all the bad news from last year fully priced in. | rivaldo
10/1/2019 07:36 | Happy with that. H2 back to more normal levels. Excellent news re the premium selling prices and kernels. H1 2019 should be a big improvement. Will continue to hold. | chadders
03/1/2019 15:39 | Hopefully between Palm oil and cashew nuts this time next year we could see reasonable gains. | jamesrs1
03/1/2019 14:53 | The CPO price has now zoomed up to over $516, from the lows of $439 or so. Let's hope it continues. | rivaldo
29/12/2018 23:14 | I don't understand why there is such subterfuge here: 31/10/18: Dekeloil Public Limited Contract to Construct Cashew Processing Plant Contract awarded to Overseas Projects & Services Ltd. (OPSL). Seems pretty deliberately gneric company name. This company was started in March 2017 with 2 x £1 shares …. held by the one and only company director, being Stefano Massari .. who is also Managing Director of Oltremare Srl. OPSL just filed its first accounts & is in the hole for £145k (Net Current Liabilities). £7k cash, no debtors and £152k of trade creditors. It's only asset is a 50% Holding in Nuts Cleaning & Packaging B.V. …. where the Technical director is??!! Yes, Stefano Massari. Stefano Massari would appear to be the co-founder of Oltremare Srl & brother(?) of co-founder Franceso Massari. Why has (in effect) DKL given a contract for a turnkey project to a newly created UK company like this and not simply awarded it to Oltremare Srl ? Why all this subterfuge? | mattjos
21/12/2018 13:56 | a director even sold extra during placing it says it all | ntv
21/12/2018 13:54 | the collapse in the PO price happened during and after the placing ever heard of hedging and I don't mean the sort that you find around a field either Good luck with your investment here rugs2 pump and dump coming | ntv
21/12/2018 12:44 | NTV So you expect them to know what the future cpo prices are going to be ? Suggest you concentrate on other company boards if you have nothing constructive to offer. | rugs2
21/12/2018 09:37 | It is loss making and worthless management can't be trusted look back at placing @13p a while ago told a pack of lies and forgot to mention collapsing palm oil price | ntv
21/12/2018 08:30 | I think CPO price has just moved to around $500 per tonne. | mfhmfh
03/12/2018 21:09 | When you think of all the products containing Pam Oil. Bread. pizza bases. shampoo. Chocolate’s. Makeup. icecream. Crisps. Biscuits and many more. Worrying about deforestation has done this product A massive injustice. Nobody thinks of all the fields that had to be cleared of trees to produce crops like corn, wheat and Barely. If it wasn’t for The do-gooders moaning this share price would be double if not triple what it is now. Maybe if this company agreed to plant some trees to compensate the worries we would see a far greater future for DKL. | jammyjim
03/12/2018 17:53 | Nice rise today, lets see what the rest of the week brings. More from the bakery magazine - Exports continue to fall which was to be expected after buyers taking advantage of zero export tax in September. For October exports were down in the region of 30%. Palm Oil is now trading at a big discount to Soybean oil and the spread to Gas Oil has also reached a mark that should attract demand. If any one on this thread could find a reliable source of information on the Cashew market it would be appreciated. Regards Mr d. | mr doughnut1
28/11/2018 08:39 | Everybody loves cashew nuts so think of the demand for next Christmas and the one after that. You could also have a little Dipping pot of Palm oil if you fancied. I am sure this company will grow in the future but it is going to take time. | jammyjim
01/11/2018 11:21 | what with, a placing to save the company? | ntv
01/11/2018 11:06 | Indeed mr d1. Patience will be rewarded methinks. | chadders
31/10/2018 18:11 | More from bakery magazine - 'Palm Oil went completely against the trend set out by other oils and actually fell late September. Better production and poor demand have weighed on the market for some time now but China have started to reverse some of their Palm Oil business and Malaysia have reduced their export tax to 0%. Exports did break the one million tonne mark for the first time in four months' the interesting bit comes at the end 'Shipping margins do not look good at the moment so product is not moving which could lead to some supply issues towards the end of October' This is only one persons opinion with data support form Mintec. Good News today chadders. Regards Mr d. | mr doughnut1
31/10/2018 07:53 | Definitely light at the end of the tunnel. | chadders
10/10/2018 15:00 | This is getting progressively worse luckily I wasn’t in for much unless this makes a turn I’m out at 2p. | jammyjim
10/10/2018 07:13 | I doubt that More likely suspension Last one here switch the lights out | ntv
10/10/2018 07:11 | Finally some light at the end of the tunnel. | chadders
08/10/2018 14:10 | Thanks for that mr d | chadders
07/10/2018 15:39 | First post on this thread - bought in on Friday, been watching for approx 16 months. I get a bakery magazine each month that provides a brief market report on commodity prices, data used provided by Mintec. 'Palm Oil continues to act like the oddball and go against the trend set out by competing oils as prices rose early September. Some of this rise is a correction which was anticipated due to the falling prices of recent weeks. Along with this the Indonesian market added some fuel to the fire by increasing their biodiesel mandates. The new demand is expected to equal 412,000 mt per month. A weak Malasian Ringgit and high energy prices gave further support.' I will keep the thread updated on all further reports. Regards Mr d. | mr doughnut1
24/9/2018 14:58 | Ok rugs2, thanks | chadders
24/9/2018 10:18 | Chadders. Don't think they are able buy at present Closed period. rgds | rugs2
24/9/2018 09:50 | Thanks for the lse board link rivaldo. Seriously underwater with these at the moment but I'll keep adding a few as and when. Hopefully the Q3 update will reverse the downtrend. A couple of directors buying at these levels wouldn't go amiss either, but news of progress on any front would be good. | chadders |
