We have to also remember that most original shareholders will have high averages in their current holding prior to applying for open offer shares. Especially considering the previous share price being above 200p at one point. Most of them will not be in profit at this current share price. If you take an example of someone buying 10000 at 100p, they will only be eligible for 1/3 (3333) on the open offer and 29% of excess. It's likely that their average will be around the 50p mark. Is that worth flipping for a reduced loss? Or holding for 50-80 on buy out or operational turnaround?

New shares aren't issued until Thursday (rather than initial date of today) so no dilution or flipping today, people are just vying for position, profit takers and new investors chancing it before the shares are issued and any forthcoming statement from BV Tech on Defenx 2020 strategy.

Can see a whole new wave of buyers getting on board here this afternoon. The mm’s will need to up the bid to +40p before i’ll even think of pocketing a bit of profit.

The company itself may be rubbish but the technology might be superb. We don’t know but the big holder will. Any placing stock being sold today is being snapped up. Now who might that be...

I think the big holder is buying up all the stock in the mkt. notice that they took all the placing in the mkt plus applied for the extra stock too. Unusual. I reckon they want to buy 70 per cent of the company and in time will make a cash offer for the balance. The stock was over 2 pounds when they got involved so this type of price is a huge discount
