Grow up and look into two opposing and successful views (short markets + DTG) in a factual way. Your lack of objectivity and hostility is the best judge of your very poor (what?!) intellect and how emotionally you approach the game (ie you are here to be proven right not make money - the tragic mistake the crowd makes). Naturally, you don't get any of the above and that's why you find yourself in the HERD category. Individually, herd's members are also known as muppets or SI's. Please keep on holding my bag and also be aware (ah boy you have so much to learn) that whatever happens from this point onwards, I have already locked in my short profits and now on is simply a game of riding it as further South as possible in the name of profit maximisation!MWAH

Tong - You have clearly done a lot of highly sophisticated analytical work, and have built up a massive trading edge here. Well done mate. You should call up Philip Meeson right away and explain to him your deeply thought out bear thesis based on your proprietary reading of Yahoo finance chart patterns, sentiment analysis based on arguing with five blokes on a bulletin board, and hours of watching talking heads on CNBC in your streaky boxers. No doubt as soon as he hears what you have to say Meeson will liquidate his £400m of shares on the spot, causing Dart to instantly go to zero. Shorting opportunities like this really don’t come around very often Tong! Time to stick your life savings on the line. Soros shorting the pound time. But really, the thing I admire about you the most is how self-aware and humble you are. So much knowledge, and you share it all on here for free!

Shoe shiners providing tips has historically marked the end of the bull market. The one before last post is no different. With US indexes dropping like a stone (for a change) this evening, let's see what Monday holds when European markets open!Long term success in the markets rests on knowing a) when to play and b) when to fold. 1. The ignorant masses who typically confuse the long bull market for brains will be found out on their next trip South ALL the way back. Can easily think of at least 5 passengers belonging to such an unsavoury category on this board. 2. Genuinely successful long-termers (reading between the lines there are a good few on here but ones that rarely post but when they do they make sense even though they may hold opposing views to mine's) translate folding as cashing your chips and switching into cash until the storm fades away. 3. Remaining few with the skill set and flexibility of doing so, go a step further and go short both larger markets (as my post of 25 Oct was calling) and stocks with an almost religious following (ie DTG prior to "smashing" results)Each to their own. Time for a tan and a drink girls so ... until Monday!

5000 more at 7.60 today ( almost 200p less than my 940p buy )as the results were Smashing in my opinion.

FACT.Mind you, this in light of a string of business results released over the last few months that have been ...(according to the one and only of this board "... smashing").
