09/7/2020 09:56 | £20k at 735p | festario
09/7/2020 09:47 | Could have been sooo much worse. Well done all at Jet2. Looking forward to better times which are now just about in view! | npp62
09/7/2020 09:35 | Growing the company in exactly the way you would want them to. Sadly, receiving a swift, sustained boot in the covids. Ensuring the company is financially robust to see it through. Can’t really ask for more. Well maybe they could’ve started making ppe? I’m more than content that my investment will grow and l’ll pull in the Xmas money to buy on the dips. | scottish007
09/7/2020 09:30 | Dart Group Full year numbers are out from Dart Group [LON:DTG] this morning, the company that stands behind the growing Jet2 airline and travel business. The reporting period is until the end of March, so COVID impacted the last two weeks of the year, but the headline numbers remain impressive. Package holiday sales were up by 19% whilst flight only passengers rose by 9%. The shut down of operations did hamper earnings however, with profit before taxation from continuing operations down by 11%. There’s a lack of visibility as to how the company will perform for the remainder of the summer, but winter bookings are described as satisfactory whilst next summer is seen as ‘encouraging | scaff55
09/7/2020 09:26 | Excellent is not the word I would use in these troubled times but I agree with you on that DTG is the strongest of the bunch. Once we've left C19 behind, DTG will see the sun again. | tongosti
09/7/2020 09:14 | These figures are excellent. More importantly the prudence of where they’re positioned re future security stands out against the competition. Anything is possible during these unprecedented times but if dart takes a hit, then Christ knows where the rest are going. | scottish007
09/7/2020 09:05 | It's going back to 500p | grapevinefriend
09/7/2020 08:59 | My £1100.00 quid won’t sway anyone but topped up at 759. Come on market, wakey wakey | scottish007
09/7/2020 08:57 | 6 month numbers will be the ones to see the real damage but by then might be in the rear view.. A great value company covid permitting.. | snorkelparker
09/7/2020 08:50 | Barring Covid they appear to be scooping up a fair old chunk of Thomas Cook’s clientele. Financially they are secure. Further 300 million to see them through should they choose to utilise it. I get that 2020-21 will take a hit but look at the nick of their competition? I’m topping up. | scottish007
09/7/2020 08:44 | Even if bookings where very strong. Why gob off at this stage with a lot of uncertainty out there... Typical PM undercommit.. Now I would have been more worried if commentary was negative.. They don't need to pump a SP | snorkelparker
09/7/2020 08:37 | Its That virus haven making everything uncertain better news there and it will rocket. | scaff55
09/7/2020 08:36 | Very much as expected this was. Mr Market agrees - no volumes suggest no surprises at all. Bar a major market leg down DTG's path of least resistance is up. | tongosti
09/7/2020 08:36 | Now they may have not closed all the unused hedges and gambled on oil recovering.. So unfortunately we won't know exactly at this stage.. | snorkelparker
09/7/2020 08:34 | CT, I think they mark to market at that point.. Took as much of the loss in the year gone. Get it all out | snorkelparker
09/7/2020 08:31 | Can someone explain the 108 m hit please. That cannot belong in last year as flying was pretty normal until mid / late March Tiger | castleford tiger
09/7/2020 08:30 | I think that it is the lack of any details around the future bookings. PM is using his usual caution when it comes to statements. Most of the rest was know. | our haven
09/7/2020 08:27 | Very low volumes at the minute they have not decided where is going yet come on dtg. | scaff55
09/7/2020 08:08 | the future is bright patience | the patient investor
09/7/2020 08:07 | Skim read.. No new info really.. | snorkelparker
09/7/2020 07:53 | Perhaps I missed it, but saw nothing about present conditions and those for the next few months. Satisfactory for this coming winter is good, but they always make a loss then anyhow. A big loss for this year is inevitable. | cb7
09/7/2020 07:47 | satisfactory and encouraging on bookings ? they must have seen my post 'SOLID' lets fly dtg. | scaff55
09/7/2020 07:36 | Rns is over egged. Also, notice the use of stakeholders, not shareholders. Remember TCG omitted shareholders and replaced with stakeholders. Overall, the company is well placed in the market. | sux_2bu |
