DP' the shorts did a lot of damage to this share. It will recover even if no T/O.
The shareprice fell of a cliff but will recover over time it climbs back by steps. Takes time but I am in no rush. :-)

No wonder the UK stock market is so poorly valued. The best we can hope for is a bid from a foreign buyer?

Amazing lack of investor interest given this is about the only tech stock on the LSE

Agreed donald pond although as you no doubt know my share price target including for a potentially likely TAKE OVER is £10

[I last sold out at just a tad under £10 as the shares hit £10+ back in 2020]

Anyway as you quite rightly state how ever you look at it the shares are currently clearly undervalued!

I think a US peer taking over DARK for something in the £8 region is more likely tbhDARK is growing fast in a sector with huge growth projects and is valued at 25% of its peers.

I own both. Why put all your eggs in one basket? Alliance offers a chance of recovery after a number of problems, but by no means certain. Darktrace has exciting prospects and the price has recently fallen because a holder sold. But we don't know the reason and it bears little reflection on Darktrace's prospects. We all have to sell holdings sometimes for a wealth of reasons.

If your statements are true, you've been moving money from a lot of losing positions and placing your funds into another losing share that's nearly at a 3yr low. You give the word loser another meaning.
