Missed this snippet from the Independent:

Market Report: Takeover bid hopes help to revive Debenhams

The financial IT group Danka Business Systems strengthened as trading started in its American depository shares on Nasdaq's over-the-counter bulletin board. Investors said "Danka very much" as the price lifted 31 per cent to 3.93p.



They've quoted someone saying 'Danka very much' LOL!

The Professor....the charts + indicators said alot last time whilst confirming the bottom (did post the same charts which everyone ignored) and the price rose by 75% to 4.75p....I'll keep buying at these lows. Buyers are slowly returning on the OTC exchange and even there sizes of buys are far greater than any sells!

For the first time in a while, some decent buys came through on Friday and for the first time in a while one of the MMs moved up on the bid. EVO did jump to 2.85p though still closed up on 2.60p from 2.50p. The offer is only shown at 2.85p because there was an AT trade on the order book otherwise KBC is the next MM with 3.10p offer, JEFF on 3.20p, WINS on 3.50p, and EVO moved up on Friday to 3.60p from 3.50p. They had intially moved up to as much as 3.80p.

If the AT trade at 2.85p is not on the order book come Monday morning then the price will open at 2.60-3.10p.

Any sells have always been low....around 50K whereas the buys have been greater over the last month. Still convinced that the 400K buyer at 3.10p on New year's Eve was not a private investor and that was the fourth highest size buy in DNK since January 2007. Any sells have nowwhere near been that size since the falls from 10p.

I also take alot of heart with how the price is holding up really well and building solid support at these levels and not falling more like other high risk stocks with the general market malaise out there.

KBC now on 3.10p, JEFF on 3.20p, WINS on 3.50p and EVO on 3.80p...seems EVO are not keen on selling stock under 3.80p.

Some strength building over the last few trading days and bottomed out again imo. Fall from 0.60 cents on only NASDAQ de-listing and not because DANKA came out with bad news...de-listing over shadowed the significant deal announced with Konica Minolta in November 2007.

Might ease off again in a bit but up 24% now...seems to be moving up on every small buy initially...imo same here and hard to buy as the 30K buyer found today that even though KBC were at 3p they were not prepared to sell any at 3p and promptly moved up to 3.25p...MMs happy to accept any sells. Next wave of rises are not too far imo but this time over 4.75p.
