15/8/2002 23:14 | BB = Busy Bee Not had much time to post or study of late, thanks for keeping us all update on whats happening, really appreciated, bought some eid already in profit, love it, thanks bb. Let's hope our danky can find a burst of energy too. Hi lex have added av. and gmg to my watch list, missed the rise on ctm although I did look at it yesterday morning at 51p can't win them all lol!! bought into ron this morning and bbc too, just spreading my wings at the moment, thanks for all your tips, I have watched previous list, and looking forward to trading them, Thanks lex (ps take a look at eidos) or have a word with bb *:o} | ambabe
15/8/2002 20:32 | 2 things 1. Stateside....it's retail selling, institution buying...been watching. 2. looking good for a break now imo. pls note that due to the high level of continuous selling over the last 5/6 days, the RSI should become oversold quick smart imo) | blockbuy
15/8/2002 15:50 | Taking a simplistic view. It seems to me that UK mms have decided that post Q1 results, contract announcements & CC fair value for danka is 45p plus and looking good for the long term.Accumulating sells like no tomorrow; today paying 47p a share.Logically there must be either a buyer for all these shares or expecting a rally.Otherwise would have dropped bid/offer as is their normal practice on constant selling.Share is news driven, however, none is expected other than extension of finance agreement or an outside chance of refinancing package (less likely than pre CC).Then onto 3 months for weaker Q2 results, however, imo looking better in view of contract announcements etc.Investors will be thinking longer term i.e 2003/2004. In the meantime is there any chance that chart ,TA with mda will trigger buying by traders sucking in fresh money with it? i.e what will stimulate buying and break this stalemate of thin volumes, mms picking up stock from impatient investors/traders.Ha | lex1000
15/8/2002 15:31 | lex danky has fallen on very little volume (in the past few weeks/months), so it wont be a surprise if it rises on little volume. | phook inell
15/8/2002 15:26 | blockbuy, really need to see higher volumes.Compare volumes with AVZ and AV.with ftse at +169 should have bought and held for greater gains! and for that matter BT. as well. | lex1000
15/8/2002 15:21 | just been doing rapis refreshes n danky....tons of movement in the last 2 mins (compared to the last 50 mins anyhow) looking at the orderbook, after 2,85 it's 3.1 | blockbuy
15/8/2002 14:12 | i think we will break $3 today. I suspect UK market makers have marked it up in anticipation of this. There is a mismatch between UK dnk price and US danky price. $2.80 / $1.5329 / 4 = 45.5p where as mid price of DNK = $2.97 thats a difference of 17c. So cant see any reason for UK mm increasing the price other than they expect DNK to rise very soon. | phook inell
15/8/2002 14:12 | Yes blockbuy passing $3.20 will get into $3.40 range again. $3.20 will be a strong resistance. | oaklandsway
15/8/2002 14:07 | I just opened moneycentral & americanbull, all now show that the closing price for yesterday was $2.85 which is the same like yahoo, etc. I am happy to guess that we should break $3+ | oaklandsway
15/8/2002 14:05 | hey oaks, someone wants out at $3.20 ish...Super sell msg. I have a feeling the price may get lifted up to that just like it has been bought doen for the buyers... alll imo of course. | blockbuy
15/8/2002 14:01 | I guess $3+ & if can pass through $3.20 then we are ready to test $3.40 again. IMHO. | oaklandsway
15/8/2002 13:41 | well those super buy messages have gone. I'm assuming they've been fullfilled now. If so we should see movement up now esp.as we are a tad above the 50dma imo. nice | blockbuy
15/8/2002 13:01 | Lets not forget our target!! | 357aman
15/8/2002 11:59 | phook inell Thanks. That's what I was implying by mms "behaviour".For some reason happily accumulating danka stock 45p to 47p and as you say even big sells have little or no effect on the share price. One buy amongst sells and up the offer price goes! | lex1000
15/8/2002 10:58 | lex it was a sell. Such big sells have had little or no effect on the share price in the past few days. | phook inell
15/8/2002 10:48 | Trade 3 150K @ 47p shown as a '?'.The way mms are "behaving" get the feeling that it would not take much for danka to break out imho. | lex1000
15/8/2002 10:47 | Although Q2 is the weakest but the operation in US keeps growing very well, that's based on vacancy offered weekly and the new program explained in the last CC. Q2 is the weakest (revenue) but could produce higher eps because: 1. the interest expense would be reduced to around $6.25M (from $7.5M in Q1) 2. the new contract will increase operating profit 3. contracts from government (states) come this month IMHO, DYOR, etc. | oaklandsway
15/8/2002 10:12 | Waiting for lift off. Treading water, trading sideways until fresh money and traders reappear. | superpete
15/8/2002 09:10 | Guys, institutional report posted yesterday. | blockbuy
15/8/2002 09:04 | Morning all. Well what a morning eh? US 50dma now $2.94 and at 1.5316 to the pound that makes 47.98p (roughly) looks like that bares up with this Today could be the day folks, especially as after hours the futures rose. Stock index futures rose during extended trading hours, indicating shares may rise when regular trading resumes Thursday morning. September futures on the S&P 500 Index rose 0.30 to 918.30. Nasdaq 100 futures advanced 5.00 to 972.00. (bloomberg) | blockbuy
15/8/2002 08:49 | charts looking good now , legs to go 80p? maybe crc group (ccg)looks a buy flying at the mo 50% upside possible | blackbear
15/8/2002 08:39 | UK mms seemingly very impressed by CC & Q1 results and have steadfastly maintained trading 45p to 50p.Have been soaking up as many sells as they can get their hands on and react quickly to any isolated buy by raising offer.imho,dyor. | lex1000
15/8/2002 00:40 | well all peaceful thomspon wise for danka. eid jumping around at the mo. | blockbuy |
