I think shorters have done their worst, should now hold above 60p and even with volatility as you say net effect is for share to head north.

IMHO DANKY/DNK has started to move substantially back north. It will still be a roller-coaster, but the net effect will be north again. I also believe that stateside, any shorting will have a minimal effect after a lot of people, long and short got burnt :0)

With reported 1.2m + US ADR shares at their disposal,danky was shorted down to low 50's used in conjunction with extremely cheap & crude scare panic tactics.Looked very oversold and inevitably bouncing back to a fairer value.I'm not an expert,however,would suggest that but for intervention by shorters, share would be trading somewhere between 68p to 80p.Happy to see share price at 60p plus again.Thanks for advise from oaklandsway and others.This is an excellent thread.imho,dyor.

I did a little research on the Institutional Ownership of Danka and it's peers and here's what I found. Hold on cause this is HUGE!!!

Institutions own approximately:
78% of Xerox
83% of EFII
59% of IKon

Guess what that # is for Danka?
5%. ONLY 5%! Can you say big time, I mean huge accumulation of Danka shares by Institutions over the next year. We all know earnings and EPS will only get better. Actually next qtr should be the break out qtr where we post between .15-.20 in EPS. I heard from a poster that many institutions can't buy stock in a company until the price sustains a minimum $5 level for a period. I think we'll see 5 by June and it'll hold cause by next earnings will be around 7. Then here comes the Institution train chugging along scooping up Danky Shares. This is huge people. Verify the #'s for yourself. Once we reach and stay over 5, the teens and 20's aren't that far away!

Danka Investors know that fall in share price down to shorters opening shorts,as they (shorters-1.2m shares i'm lead to believe) close share price must return back to $4 to $5.imho.

this is exciting work has come to a standstill, can we break $4 today remember we were $440 before results with 4th consecutive quarter of incr in ebitda, reduced debt, improved margins and more profit allthough slightly less turnover and with recent reports of increased consumer spending and confidence,indications are that the us will come out of this recession and in 3-6 mths revenue could be up significantly, what then??? YES THEN WE SHALL SEE THIS ROCKET AND $10 is what i expect, imho,dyor etc

3.80 - nearly 100,000 volume and almost 10% up.
Pattern is several buys, couple of sells, then buys/up again
