62m shares voted for the board, 35m against, so pretty solid support by the II's, 93m for Nicholas Ward, 3m against, if I heard right.

The directors mentioned "both offers" and reckoned matters would be "brought to a conclusion fairly soon" (put up or shut-up?) K.

Nicholas Ward has been a director since April (not that he seems to have done much since then).

Depends how they voted and whether they gave a proxy vote.

Cold shoulder just makes it extremely difficult for him but does not stop him taking control of the Board.

Shareholders have been cold shouldering Myerson for sometime and whilst his 27% is substantial I would expect shareholders to vote against him. Unless apathy has taken hold as is usual with private investors.......

The cold shoulder was anounced after most people had voted,I'm afraid that is what counts over the show of hands at the EGM.

The cold-shoulder penalty issued against him by the Takeover Panel last week.
Cant see this getting share holder support from the other 70%+
Can you?
