If those places have street lights then I believe they are market opportunities. Do we have a team in Atlantis or the model village in the Cotswolds? Might be worth a couple of POCs to kick things off ;-)

Happy Easter weekend everyone.

Well I must say I am very Surprised the rose tint brigade are not on here wetting themselves over this massive purchase order. When does cyan see the cash? POs are one thing, hard cash is all that matters.

Encouraging to see an Indian company putting their own money up-front and invest in technology to roll-out a Cyan-based based end-to-end solution - backed by a customer order. As always, very slow progress in Indian business; however, gradually the pieces are falling into place........

Purchase order for Software Licences from Innologix India

CyanConnode, the world leader in narrowband radio mesh networks, announces it has received a purchase order for approximately $150,000 from Innologix Consulting Pvt Ltd ("Innologix") in India for its smart metering software solution.

Innologix is a systems integrator focused on smart metering within India. They will integrate CyanConnode's software into its own cloud-based innovative energy management solutions to create a platform to capture and store meter data to assure utilities they are charging correctly. The smart meters for the Innologix solution will use CyanConnode's communications module and data concentrator units, which will be sourced from one of the Company's existing local partners.

The purchase order is for CyanConnode Head End Server software licenses, and includes an annual maintenance contract, which will both provide a recurring revenue stream following successful installation of the software on the Innologix cloud-based platform.

John Cronin, CyanConnode Executive Chairman, commented: "This contract win with Innologix further demonstrates the success of the Company's scalable business model as well as the strength of its smart metering eco-system in India. Through our collaborative approach, and commitment to transferring skills and experience to our partners in-country, CyanConnode's communication platform is an enabling technology that delivers cost-effective solutions designed for the utility sector in India."

Atul Agrawal, CEO & Founder at Innologix Consulting, commented: "When we established Innologix, we were clear that we would focus on providing a cloud computing service, delivering the latest energy management technology without the investment in infrastructure or the running costs required to host and manage a system in-house. Working with CyanConnode's partner eco-system, we are delighted to have secured our first major customer order for smart metering as a managed service. The contract for software licenses together with smart grid hardware will provide our customers with a cost-effective, end-to-end solution."

Has cyan seen a penny from Iran yet? Are they likely to see a penny? All these deals look great on PowerPoints but if the cash is not in the company bank account then I remain 100% cynical that the money will ever materialise. One would think that with sterling at lows that there must be an incentive cyan could offer these "customers" to pay in advance then call off the product/service.

Let me get my sombrero ;-)

Whatever it is people think is going to happen here it isn't going to happen IMO. Look at the pathetic history of this company and the shameful award of low bar options. This is IMO not one for widows and orphans unless you like PowerPoints and brr productions.

whilst on holiday,i raised a question about india & smart meters to the curry house owner,he laughed and replied on the other side of the equator & in my country we have a lot more sunshine and daylight hours, why would we need a smart meter when we can have a solar pannel and the sunshine is free ?...but i replied it will be accomodated with smartlighting & smart meters for the internet of things for smart city`s.....my friend he replied tata power are building solar micro grids and the streetlighting will be powerd by solar.

and t/days rns informs us the shares issued was not brought on the open market,so mates rates it is in eis
