Probably now viewed as an oil stock so likely to track crude price (and commods/miners) to some degree. Also bound to drift in absence of news. However when the positive news arrives we should see some more major upward spikes. If this attracts more short sellers so much the better.

Good to see someone of Kavanagh's stature getting behind this story. Unusual for him to look at a penny stock. Perhaps it's safe to assume this won't be a penny stock for much longer!
Will be happy to see this re-base around the 7p-7.5p mark. I think things are moving pretty quickly behind the scenes. The change of name was quick and unexpected. More positive surprises coming, and coming soon me'thinks.

In January a Norwegian magazine selected Arkadiy Abramovich, Roman Abramovich's son, to give his first ever interview. The Business Edition talked to the billionaire's son about their investments and whether or not he attempted to buy into the Danish Football Club F.C. Copenhagen. He also reveals that he is looking for a Norwegian oil company.

Through its holding company Zoltav in Switzerland, Arkadiy Abramovich manages large value (investments). The company has interests in oil and raw materials in Russia and Kazakhstan. Now, Abramovich junior is openly looking for companies to partner with.

- "I am heavily involved in oil production in Russia and Kazakhstan and am interested in tying a knot with Norwegian companies intending to develop oil fields", he said. He mentions both DNO and Eco, but adds that he has also studied more.

- "The Norwegian stock exchange seems like the appropriate place for oil companies, and there are several companies that might be of interest to us collaborating with. Norwegian companies are experienced and competent leaders. If they want to be to develop oil in Russia and Kazakhstan, I can help. Any time", said Arkadiy Abramovich.

It was this interview that led to speculation he was interested in Kurdish assets (via DNO). The Iraquis are very keen on getting the Russians involved.

Lukic, know what you mean about the 8p mark, but long term I don't think that will matter. Hope it holds this rise for rest of the day. I for one would be happy with a modest rise every so often, keeps away the short term traders.
