27/4/2011 12:40 | As you say the price has jumped on personal involvements. But just look at the last involvement! I expect this to hold/consolidate at or around 7p. There will naturally be profit taking and selling after big spikes. All normal stuff. Abramovich senior will probably feel confident enough now to move some of his investments (eg. Highland Gold) from Millhouse, or drop some of his new investments into Crosby. He could even conceivably take a small stake (say 10%) himself, giving him and his son virtual control. Where would the share price go if that happened! | jojo_jo
27/4/2011 12:01 | Now then now then 'bingowing'......... So your observations are far from neutral. Of course you are kicking yourself for not waiting 48 hours, but we have all done that without the need to try and drag the price down, which clearly you are with remarks such as " no fundamentals to hold this price ". So lets be straightforward and say you sold too quickly and now want the price lower so that i may get back in! | waldof
27/4/2011 11:35 | If this was being dumped it would have fallen a lot more quickly. Happy to hold ;-) | lukic
27/4/2011 11:29 | problem is, this rose when mc'eowen got involved and now its rose when someone else has gotten involved. still no fundamentals to hold this price. | bingowing
27/4/2011 11:15 | roman - some of that, but 650k buy yesterday am and 250k buy today, so not all selling. I am happy to keep topping up, my average still under 5p. | littlemadam
27/4/2011 10:37 | Pump and dump-typical scenario. | romanlyczko
27/4/2011 09:28 | Mind you Southern Cross desperately needed the cash from the Warrant exercise, and it's good for us as it should give the MMs some ammunition with which they can profit. Equally, if they were picked up by one of the big three holders, the 'free float' remains unchanged. So good news either way imho. The slightest hint of good news could see this double overnight. | jojo_jo
27/4/2011 09:25 | Almost 2m traded already this morning so still lots of interest :-) | lukic
26/4/2011 16:51 | and finally the 2.5m, so if we take the 2,5m 3m 4m equals 9.5m the warrants | theshareguru
26/4/2011 16:22 | are these sells tied in with the warrants, 9m so far 4m 3m 0.75m i thought it was tommorrow they where being released ! | theshareguru
26/4/2011 16:12 | we might wait untill he complited his study. | romanlyczko
26/4/2011 16:00 | This will struggle to move up, There is no real news yet. imho. Wait until we know what this company is going to invest in before getting to carried away. | bingowing
26/4/2011 15:37 | whats the sp, 750k sell @ 7.2p then 3m sell @ 7.42p very strange | theshareguru
26/4/2011 15:00 | A move up today would be nice, but suspect MMs will collect a bit more stock before making a push upwards... perhaps tomorrow. Small o/s float bodes well for substantial spike when the time comes. | jojo_jo
26/4/2011 14:26 | 3m sell at 7.42................ | ronson333
26/4/2011 14:26 | 3m sell at 7.42................ | ronson333
26/4/2011 13:11 | yes QXL was ultimately a brilliant share to own, but it was one hell of a ride along the way..lol | lukic
26/4/2011 13:05 | If this does as well as QXL I'll be very happy. I remember having QXL after it collapsed and just putting a couple of thousand away. Never looked at it again for a few years and ended up selling them when they got bought out. I think it ended up being a 60-bagger! Like I said before: one to put in a drawer and look at again in a few years. | jojo_jo
26/4/2011 11:52 | he never tells you how short he is. but will tell you how long he is say no more | patboy
26/4/2011 10:37 | JoJo - It was Evil Kneivel. Have seen him get his fingers burnt before (on QXL) and am confident he will here too :-) | lukic
26/4/2011 10:23 | I notice someone posting on other thread shorted this at 5p! I hope a lot more short this stock. The MMs will have a field day with them. | jojo_jo
25/4/2011 16:06 | lbo; would be surprised if you short makes you money. It pre-supposes a. rich people throw their money away and b. that Jr will be expected to run that company. As there is an expectation that assets will be injected to the vehicle, the family connections in that part of the world will help and I would sincerely hope he is not going to 'run' anything where there is an existing management; he does not have experience. | panadin
25/4/2011 13:59 | However, I doubt Dad is Mad. Further, I think this is Fun for Son if not for some. So I have shorted Crosby at 5p. Remember: Arkadiy is off to university in the USA in a few months' time. Notwithstanding the lad's provenance it is hard to run an oil concern in those circumstance | lbo |
