28/4/2011 10:04 | The more short-sellers the better as far as I'm concerned. There's no upper limit to where this could go, and it could easily jump to 30p+ within a few months - even more when we get some investment news. Note that Abramovich Sr. has decided to continue on as a local MP for Chukotka. Reminder of salient points from Abramovich's (ARA) stake purchase RNS the other day... ARA's strategic investment is designed to further advance the process of identifying suitable acquisition opportunities for Crosby in order to allow the Company to fulfil its previously announced investing strategy of acquiring holdings in the natural resources sector. Robert Owen, Chairman of Crosby, commented: "The Board of Crosby is pleased to welcome Arkadiy Abramovich as a new substantial shareholder in Crosby Asset Management. The Company will continue to assess potential opportunities within its investing strategy, and the Board continues to focus its activities in the natural resources sector, leveraging the experience and relationships of the Board and the Company's strategic investors. The Board will update shareholders of its progress in due course." | jojo_jo
28/4/2011 09:57 | When is the AGM??? It looks like resource injection will be the highlight!!! A lot of mileage here in my opinion...EK does not realise the Directors are running CSB not a investor...!!! stupid fat pr@ck | quraishim
28/4/2011 09:38 | Littlemadman - here is the extract from EK's diaries: Today on UK-Analyst.com we bring you an exclusive extract from the diaries of legendary bear raider Evil Knievil, taken from his popular thrice-weekly column only on t1ps.com. 18th April 2011 Readers may recall my scepticism as to the ruling value of Crosby Asset Management (CSB), then 7p or so. The stock drifted. But you have to hand it to the incumbent management, principally John McKeon who has sold 25% of this shell to Arkadiy Abramovich, just 20 years old. The clear hint is that Roman will give his son a leg up and soon - at which point all current valuations fall by the wayside - or so the supposition goes. However, I doubt Dad is Mad. Further, I think this is Fun for Son if not for some. So I have shorted Crosby at 5p. Remember: Arkadiy is off to university in the USA in a few months' time. Notwithstanding the lad's provenance it is hard to run an oil concern in those circumstances. | lukic
28/4/2011 09:32 | The name change is but the start | cybercity.
28/4/2011 09:31 | lukic, ta I was just about to ask who said he/she was shorting this. 5p? no way methinks. Just wish I had kept buying under 7.5p as we may not see that again. Still, happy with what is for me a decent holding, about 20% of a modest portfolio. | littlemadam
28/4/2011 09:29 | this ready for launch....now its all pointing that the new investors are making this a resource vehicle and this will move fast... | quraishim
28/4/2011 09:20 | what's even better is that Evil Kneivel shorted CSB (at 5p) and told his sheep (sorry followers) and it's now back on the up. They will all have to buy back soon to cut their losses - nice ;-) | lukic
28/4/2011 09:10 | Just doing up my seat belt ready for the ride :-) | lukic
28/4/2011 08:55 | Looks like a pretty clear signal that they intend investing predominantly in Eastern Block and former Soviet Union assets where the Abramovich name carries a lot of weight. A few very undervalued assets are probably already lined up, so there'll be some major share price movement soon imho. Oops, taking off already it seems. | jojo_jo
28/4/2011 08:41 | Zoltav a chess player...... | alpha534u
28/4/2011 08:38 | But this is ZOLTAV. Clearly Eastern Block but apparently meaningless. | jojo_jo
28/4/2011 08:35 | Fellow "wordies", the name Zoltan is the Hungarian form of Sultan. It is the remnant of the Turkish occupation of Hungary. | patboy
