An excellent RNS today:"The acquisition of 26 exploration permits[1] prospective for copper, antimony, tungsten, lead-zinc and gold, wholly in line with CMR's stated strategy of targeting and acquiring clean energy development assets in Morocco. The permitted area covers approximately 400 km2 across in recognised and well-established mining regions, which boast numerous existing mining businesses in production along with the required infrastructure."A vast area that must represent significant value given payment was in shares at a current premium to share price. The future here looks extraordinarily positive.https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/caerus_mineral_resources/news/rns/story/xe17onw

That makes sense, and maybe there really can't be any other reason when you have a multi headed hydra.

TM - I'm curious. Why does a share price drop, even if only by a minimum amount, when there are no recorded transactions on the day ?

Thanks TM. I've got a fair chunk in here at good prices, I hope. Fingers crossed for when mining shares become attractive to investors again ; certainly not at present !

Morocco is parliamentary constitutional monarchy where govt decisions are made expeditiously. As Charles Long points out, Morocco has good hard infrastructure and crucially good soft infrastructure such as education and legal structure.

I firmly believe Long is focused on the right jurisdiction, and is hugely ambitious - I think he wants to mine Cu and Co rather than just issue endless drilling results to support placings. After much uncertainty I am now a very happy holder of CMRS.

So, TM. what's your take as to how this affercts CMRS's chances ? At least the jurisdiction seems safer than most for invesTors, a terribly important element to be considered these days.

Forbes: New mines are not being built. Goldman Sachs research team says that regulatory approval for copper mines has fallen to the lowest level in a decade. It is getting steadily more difficult to build mines at the same time that investors are less interested in commodities. For some reason, the critical part of the energy transition, the copper required for electrification at scale, is deemed the least interesting by investors and governments alike. When mining companies do finally have access to capital there is still a high likelihood that the project will never get approved.Cue: Morocco

Permitting in Cyprus is a Sisyphean task compared to Morocco, a real focus on extraction by an ambitious CEO here - extremely positive: https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/1030443/critical-mineral-resources-pushing-forward-in-morocco-after-restructuring-1030443.html

Thats true re cash required.

But they have I believe, 10,000,000 million shares in treasury.

Even at todays lows thats £400k. Plus reading the RNS re the Cypriot debt, another payment of a few hundred k there. Thats a minimum of £600k plus current cash.

I would expect the share price to be higher in the coming months 8-10p will give a near million with treasury shares.

These were claimed back from previous board. So not exactly dilution, as issued shares currently are 68 mill. That includes the 10 mill in treasury.

1. High grade sediment hosted copper and silver. Historic mining and direct shipment of the ore. Excellent.

2. Highly prospective cobalt opportunity near a current operating Cobalt mine. Excellent.

3. Opportunities are in Morocco. Excellent.

4. Small starter mine to develop cashflow. Very good idea - rather than continual raises to drill out the orebody. Good.

5. £243,000 of cash and 6 months salaries £200,000 - Hmm

6. Will need some drilling => cash. Hmmm

I think this has some outstanding opportunities, but they need cash. Farm out? Equity raise?

Tough call.
